Wow, that's an awesome live view! Thanks for sharing. I've never considered Garmin but looks like they are pretty good for offshore fishing as well. How did you end up mounting the transducers 1 or 2 and which do you recommend for inshore and offshore soCal fishing.
I have been using Garmin products for years professionally in critical operations and have never had any major failures. Customer service actually answers the phone too! So for my weekend warrior boat operations that was the only answer. lol I have 2 separate externally mounted transducers on the transom. Through hull transducers are best but over double the price. Live view down is the PS30 transducer. GT51M-TM is the side view and chirp transducer. Those work great for me and I’ve been running them for the last 6 years. (Same set up on my last boat too) everyone that fishes on my boat is blown away with how great the live view down is. Defiantly worth the $. If you watch my last video you’ll see me using it to put the lure on the fish and snag one in seconds…. Thanks for checking in.
