Nice job! I really like it. Knifemaker here but I'm definitely going to try this out. My daughter and I are going to give it a shot. Thanks for sharing it.
Excellent work! I have an after the fact question if I may. I have a birdhouse very similar to this. After examining it, I feel it is too shallow to provide safety to young birds inside, as I can touch the bottom board with my finger through the hole. I'm wondering and thinking, would it be possible to cut the bottom board out a add new sides and back, along with a new floor, to provide a deeper house and wider at the base. I'm figuring the new side portions could be cut at a determined angle to allow the sides to flare out to accommodate a wider base. I believe the bottom of the new side portions would need to be cut at an angle also to meet the bottom flush. The back would just be cut to match up with the new sides and the front piece, face, could just be reattached. What are your thoughts? I know it would be a project
Yes sounds like it would work as long as you have room to hide the extension behind the beard. Might be easier to just build a new box and salvage and reuse the front face and roof. Best of luck
Nice easy wood spirit birdhouse. I like the idea of using the flap sanding disc.
Glad you like it
Something different, very nice Dan
Thank you! Cheers!
I love this!!! I'm going to make one, but put a pipe in his mouth to give the birds a place to stand outside. Awesome idea! Thank you!
That's a great idea!
Well done!! You got my wheels spinning again!! Lol thanx and keep the videos coming!!
You bet!
Very inspirational video. One of the easiest spirit bird houses I've ever seen done. Will certainly put my own spin on it and build one for myself.
Very nice
Thank you!!
Must say very amazing idea.
