Great job! I've got a 150 with a Tiger O and Lutino as well... may follow your lead and put some SD's in there. Love the Sevs too! What's the dark one? A Turquoise Sev?
Beautiful tank, water clarity is top notch (well with your filtration system, I can't imagine it wouldn't be...) Just wondering though, where do you keep the pH?..the Africans and Central American cichlids generally require different pH levels. Very healthy and happy fish though! Great job.
Cool, too bad about the Albino, hope you find it a good home. Yup, a lot of Tiger Barbs were eaten as midnight snacks but I expected that. The 3 that are left are SUPER fast though :). It wasn't cheap ;)
I spend on average about 1-2 hours a week on it. I change 25% of the water weekly and do a complete gravel vac every other week. The custom wet/dry in the next room needs very little maintence and the Ocean Clear canister also needs very little maintence.
Thanks! True if they come directly from the wild. The specimens we get are so far removed from the wild it's not funny. So far they are all thriving around 7.8.
Thanks everybody!! Sorry to report that one of the Pictus Cats died during the night. Couldn't see attack damage, just dead. Weird. Everybody else appears healthy.
No they leave the Oscars alone. The Oscars are pissed that I ruined the nest they had made that day. I cleaned the gravel and smoothed back over the big nest that they had dug out by the ship :) Two days later they had it dug back out.
@srgtflowers i have flagfish living with my cichlids, and they aren't even bothered. you just have to get a big school of smaller fish, and let the oscar grow up with them, and they most likely won't get eaten!
amazing.. we don't see the hard work you put into this!! dream tank, if only i have the time and passion for this.. great work great work!
Your tank is phenomenal,,,,great work....
Nice set up! I love Oscars! I can't believe the Tiger Barbs haven't became dinner...lol

Love your aquarium! Keep up the awesome job! :-)

nice tank dude fair play!!! you could have a bath in it just mind your prawn ha ha
Awesome tank. I always wanted a 300 gallon.
that lighting in the end is quite amazing
Wow! How do you feed all those? I'd imagine the big fishes would eat all of it, lol.
It's either the Yellow Lab Cichlid or the Gold Severum that you are talking about.
Awesome tank! How is it that your tiger barbs don't get eaten? My Oscars eat anything smaller than them!
Thanks!
hey whats your secret bro that tank is aweomse and the best part is those oscars man that tank must have cost a fortune anyway keep up the good work
thanks
Nice
@dewillget8 what is the fish at 0:29?it looks cool!
nice vid. i like your sevs.
Nice Oscars mate
Thanks. Yes the dark one is a Turquoise. He has beautiful dark blue markins along his body.
Depends on a lot of things. Tank size, how much you feed it, water conditions and etc. I think mine were about 6-8" after the first year.
Thanks. Still have 3 Tiger Barbs left and the Oscars act like they aren't even in the tank.
I spend on average about 1-2 hours a week on it. I change 25% of the water weekly and do a complete gravel vac every other week. The custom wet/dry in the next room needs very little maintence and the Ocean Clear canister also needs very little maintence.
They have ceramic weighted bases that look like roots. You can find them on eBay.
Basement and I reinforced it with two beams just to be safe :) Thanks and will do.
Thanks, my secret is weekly partial water changes to keep the nitrates below 20ppm.
I feed on two sides and everybody seems to get full bellies. Everybody is quick to get their share! :)
Nice tank, what was the price range for the tank and stand alone?
sick night like dude
Thanks :)
what type of fish is that yellow fish that looks like the albino oscar but minus the stripes and a little smaller?
Thanks! True if they come directly from the wild. The specimens we get are so far removed from the wild it's not funny. So far they are all thriving around 7.8.
great tank, but maybe add a few live plant cause its better for them.
Thanks everybody!! Sorry to report that one of the Pictus Cats died during the night. Couldn't see attack damage, just dead. Weird. Everybody else appears healthy.
all the fishes are living peacefully =)
is that a stick-on background or did you paint the tank?
Still have 3! I can't believe they have made it this long either, lol.
No just lucky :) There was over 24 to begin with to cycled the tank. I didn't expect any to make it this long.
You have great looking fish MrO. I tried to leave a coment but kept getting errors.
U should put more fish in there... U got a lot more room in there.... I wish I had a tank like that ):
No they leave the Oscars alone. The Oscars are pissed that I ruined the nest they had made that day. I cleaned the gravel and smoothed back over the big nest that they had dug out by the ship :)
Two days later they had it dug back out.
Niiice tank
Gold Severum

is that a BICHIR
Ur tank looks awesome ...Iam in love with it
What kind of filter do you use?
I keep tiger barbs in with my large cichlids too. I've never had any problems.
Filter?
1:07 what's that fish?
hey please post an update
does anyone know what kind of fish those 2 blue and yellow ones are?
They are just over a year old in this video.
@srgtflowers i have flagfish living with my cichlids, and they aren't even bothered. you just have to get a big school of smaller fish, and let the oscar grow up with them, and they most likely won't get eaten!
It was painted from the factory.
You should film this tank in 1080p HD, Discovery channel style, and put in some relaxing music and I will buy that video from you for $0.99!
thats no ''300 fish tank'' thats like around 50-60
Are you dumb?
how much ??
What are you smoking?
Coming soon!
Thanks but your tank is WAY overstocked. An adult Oscar alone needs a bare minimum of 55 gallons to handle his bio load.
After they were a year old.
Who said american cichlids and african cichlids cant be put together
0:37 kissy kissy
It was custom built.
if you get a big enough tank they wont
@srgtflowers I guess I'm just lucky :)
@slimrs09 Iowa
Beautiful. Check mine out.
your tank is probably to small
Thanks!
Thanks!
