The enemy Slowbro dancing with you at the end was a good play.
Not dancing with enemy slowbro at the lastt second of the match was NOT A GOOD PLAY, somebody lost hope for the pokemon unite community because of that. 😂

Correct. According to the Mathcord, unless you secure the last hit, all players need to be roughly within Eldegoss auto attack range of the enemy to receive EXP.

When I am leaning with an Xp share holder, there are times I intentionally walk away so they can have max xp from farm. In that instance, Espeon should have stayed as slow bor was already evolved

I agree with Connor. Cris did this before and it was cool to watch his viewers critique every micro and macro actions in the game.

For the Unite move you "missed", you could have hit Amnesia+ then your unite. Amnesia+ would give you that brief Unstoppable, +300 Defense and +150 Sp. Defense for 4s, and some healing of your passive; the shield from your Unite would be yuuuge as well, roughly 50% in total.

Also I think misplays (missing an unite move, etc) shouldn't be count as bad plays-- it's just a mistake. Bad plays should be bad decisions. (But we all make bad plays sometimes-- it's not something to be ashamed of. Just something that needs to be identified and improved on.)

Agreed, bad plays is different from bad executions. @spragels can't fix your execution, but he can help you with decisions. The early landing was terrible execution by the enemy,and a few bad decisions. Dodrio walking away from that stolen farm was a bad decision. Missing a couple of last hits against a slow Bro is bad execution, but really just a hard task in the first place.
The only bad play is still trying to understand how Dodrio has 3 hats

Bad play by Crustle at the very start of the game running past the first two bunnies. Takes much longer for Mimikyu to do them alone, and leaves the other bunnies to get stolen by a potential enemy stacker. Love the content!!!
Spragels thank you so much for helping us players out with getting better in a game your videos are entertaining to watch, i really would love more educational videos from you like this one, this way we have visual examples of mistakes being made, and it can help us understand better the importance of not making these mistakes. Underrated good play: Espeon letting Rayquaza reset when it was 200.
Bad play: Decidueye ripping ray with 20 seconds left. Even if there wasn't time the only lose-condition was a ray steal

Such a bafflingly atrocious surrender attempt right there. You guys all knew you were ahead and completely wiped their team and they tried pulling that. 💀
Decidueye taking razor leaf instead of Spirit Shackle is a huge misplay. Drastically shortens his threat range, make it easier for opponents to jump him, and loses one of best secures in the game for (Can only be justified if using curse bangle). Misplay on the opponents for not exploiting this fatal weakness frequently.
Since the buff, razor leaf has had its moments for sure. I wouldn't call it a bad play, the rip ability of RL is pretty nuts.
But not having that secure on your team makes it more questionable. Tough to coordinate that in solo queue with espeon taking SP

At zapdos fight it was a 2v3, everyone else was afk
The active players had all 40% - 47% winrate
And then me with da 71% lol

Cool video idea Jake, I thought it would be cool to do a tier list of all the Pokémon abilities like levitate and disguise in Pokémon Unite, just an idea.
When i was playing Mimikyu, KOed 3 enemy Pokémon, and while i was trying to score my 50, our Eldegoss scored the remaining 8 on the goal, and i was like, why do that?
9:05 - This has to be one of the worst surrenders there was-- You guys were even at least 300 points ahead due to breaking all the enemy goals, and you guys didn't even lose Ray! If people had agreed to that surrender for whatever reason, then it'd turn an easy win into a loss. That was a game where even if you guys had lost Ray, it'd STILL be possible to make a comeback due to how much ahead you guys were.
Now doing it on comms would be insane😂

There are no bad plays, only poorly executed plays that totally would’ve won the game if they worked
Offcourse there's bad plays dude, something that can't work will not work. Something thst has a slim chance of working when there's better plays is a bad play

@@levibest2409 Someone I play with a lot is report happy and she constantly says report that person! And I'm like why? They aren't intentionally helping the opponents or doing anything trolly, they are just stupid. You can't report someone for being stupid
@@shaunstevens4292 it's just fumes I'm sure she's not serious because I'm not bc u can't report someone for being an idiot but the only reason why someone would say this is because we don't have a functioning block system apparently block doesn't prevent them from showing up in your games again.

@@levibest2409 Oh no, she's serious, and she reports them. Smh every time. Match making is still a problem in this game. Would like to see a no rank loss prevention tier created prior to masters meaning you have to be at least above the 50% WR to get to masters. I think that would solve a lot of match making problems at the highest level

Does anyone know the reasoning behind the bronze beedrill? Is it more optimal or is he lacking the silver/ gold?
Optimal. Beedrill minuses HP. We don't want that, but we do want the green and black so we use bronze to subtract less HP.
Yeah, the bronze is on purpose. It’s a good color combination but not good stat wise

Jake can you make a video discussing the probability that this game suffers due to the Chinese beta? We haven’t gotten any new emblems or adjustments to the raw stats and passive effects from them in NINE MONTHS. Not only this, but ElChicoEevee made a tweet. 2022 saw 18 new Pokémon, this year we only had 12 releases. Yeah, we can have hope that the changes to the Chinese version make it to the global release, but how long are we going to have to hold on to the hope?
In my opinion, they focus too much on new releases and not enough on experience optimization anyway. I am hoping they put more effort into fixing things that could be improved rather than new content in the coming months. No clue if they will, though
