I haven’t watched the whole video Jake, but for those that don’t understand, Tinkaton’s passive, Mold Breaker has 3 parts: • Does more damage to shields • Gains permanent AD when hitting with boosted autos or abilities (caps at 60 AD) • Rock Smash, Gigaton Hammer, Smack Down’s effects are stronger (knock up and range respectively)
For Thief vs Ice Hammer. Thief is good into defenders since you steal percentage defense so you wanna steal a Snorlax or a Crustle’s defense over a Cinderace’s. In contrast you wanna use Ice Hammer against that Cinderace or Greninja. All the while their autos are resetting your boosted auto guage faster
@@spragelsanytime, it also seems like the Thief buff fills your boosted auto gauge faster 🤔 idk yet but further investigation is needed. I also wonder if you can steal defenses from multiple enemies
I love Tinkaton, it is one the very few fairy types I actually like and I gotta say they did it justice. Very fun and unique mechanics, it feels like you’re actually holding a giant hammer. The moves look incredibly satisfying and powerful especially on the first moveset. Would definitely wanna try stacking on it, I bet it scales like crazy if you manage to max out it’s passive Don’t think anything will ever come close to the hype I got from the Darkrai leak but this comes pretty damn close. Probably gonna be my main all-rounder for a while
yeah they captured it really well. its either a fast mischevious gremlin with thief smackdown, or a giant hammer wielder with the hammer moves. i feel like the difference is, do ya wanna be the one to go in first, and cc the enemies, or do ya wanna be the one to follow up the defender going in, and steal their defenses
I am SUPER excited about Tinkaton coming to Unite. It's one of my favorite gen 9 Pokémon and looks really fun to play. After playing since launch, I'll finally have 2 All-Rounders that I actually WANT to play. I'm going to main Tinkaton alongside Psyduck and Umbreon ❤
Tinkaton was one of my favorite Pokémon from SV so I’m super excited it’s coming to this game. With the hammer counter stacking when you hit enemies it screams Muscle Band/Rapid-Fire Scarf!
chandelure is gonna drop in usage even more because there's no way it will outrun gigaton hammer my biggest problem with this is that because of the hammer the model is Ho-oh level enormous
Im pretty sure the range increases on Tinkaton the same way the damage area scales up with stacks on the hammer. Really excited about Tink and Rapidash too.
I don't know if anyone else saw it, but when tinkaton's boosted is full, it has to auto attack twice after using a move to deplete it. Like, at the end when Jake is confused about what Eevee was showcasing, he goes smack down > basic and it doesn't deplete, but then that second basic depleted the boosted gauge
Another comment for the algorithm. What are we thinking in regards to items? Is this a drain crown mon specifically with thief? Boosted auto seems to charge up quick while buffed by thief. Will an attack weight be necessary? Considering its own passive lets it gain AD while fighting? Is going tanky the play? Or so we go for a nuclear hammer sized bonk
so if inteleon snipeshot=blaziken overheat in a way we can say decidueye sniper=tinkaton gigaton hammer like in terms of damage and how tinkaton can move while it charges like deci and inteleon and blazinken cannot
potentially? another thing im interested in, is how does thief handle temporary defenses? like say a pokemon used a move that buffs its defenses, like amnesia, is thief taking from base defenses, or amnesia buffed defenses.
Honestly apart from ice hammer I was expecting these kind of moves on tinkaton. Considering the only (decent) physical fairy type move it can use is play rough and how they can differentiate it from other Play roughs (especially when mimikyu is strongest) they had to have reached out more.
I just got my TH-cam gaming recap and you were my number 1 channel this year! I also ranked in the top 0.1% of viewers lol
love you

Wow, another Gen 9 Pokemon. Tinkaton and Trevenant might be the hammer lane equivalent of the A9-Mamo ice lane. Can't wait to play it.
As someone who absolutely loves the Tinkaton line this might be the best leak in unite history (for me)
1:24 Jake uses, Minimize! Evasion raises sharply!
I believe Evee was trying to show us that smack down cooldown resets when you cancel it.
Might be

These 2 pokemon Rapidash and tinkaton got me excited to play unite again not gonna lie...psyduck almost made me come bk
5:28 Holy just realized the whole model is like Dred's size

Now we have hammer duos
I’m getting this mon on release I haven’t played in 2-3 months so it will be a perfect Mon to comeback to haha
couldnt have been more perfect bonk
It seems geared towards taking down Defenders, with its ability that deals extra damage to shields.

Fairy wind on the 1st stage is leaf tornado redesign
Unite move charges really slow.
What if thief could steal hield items too, would have been interesting 😂

Definitely feel like a more secure focus Pokémon
She's perfect for my style
I so want vaporeon in the game
Welcome back! hope you enjoyed my country.
Dusk Lycanroc when???!!
I mean we need to take in consideration the fact that it's a 3 stage evo and in real battles it's harder to get exp
Poppy from League Of Legends Vibe
Tinkaton looks like a high skill character and I’m here for it
She looks very fun. But I'm unsure about skill, the whole game has like 2 skill characters at most
weight, cookie, muscle band maybe?
Best all-rounder so far, change my mind😎😂
idk man, rapidash is looking better to me. nearly endlessly unstoppable speed demon
Yokoso, Watashi no soul society
BONK GAMING IS SO TRUE EVERYONE!!!
This game looks easier to understand than stormgate to me
guess my muddy water goodra's gonna be even worse to play when this comes out 😀
I wonder if you can eject while charging the bonk.
Cant wait for alakazam
We can get things that had been used on the map?
So it looks like Tinkaton is gonna be the first dedicated tank shredder?
potentially? another thing im interested in, is how does thief handle temporary defenses? like say a pokemon used a move that buffs its defenses, like amnesia, is thief taking from base defenses, or amnesia buffed defenses.
Not every tank uses shields. Besides, Sylveon, Gardevoir, Chandelure are already good into double tank comps
Of course another all-rounder with tons of CC Just what we need😐
At this point, am I surprised?
No. Not in the slightest.
for what eactly
@@bubuxviv Tinkaton and goddamn GALARIAN RAPIDASH in unite.
@@eggyt1153 like what do you mean its good or bad

Interesting set of moves that don't match the typing
its allrounder..what doesnt match here..good damage good cc gd hp
@bubuxviv I was strictly talking about actual type from the main games. Dark x ice etc on a steel fairy

@@fight_and_die1573 I think thief threw me off
I thought they didnt add baby pokemon?
It's not a baby Pokemon
Tinkatink is techinically not a baby mon, that term strictly refers to the lowest evos that cannot breed themselves (e.g. Riolu, Pichu)
Yee haw first
