Even today being a regular traveler to Mysore ,i still go by old Mysore road , unfortunately most road side eateries have shut the door , you can by using expressway you can reach Mysore at the most by an hour early ,by using the old Mysore road we can help this people to keep going with their livelihood.

Same here I prefer taking old road to enjoy Bidadi thatte idli, Ramanagara Mysuru pak and Maddur Wade. But express way definitely help tourist visiting Coorg or other places and 8t reduces the traffic. People who don't want to pay toll and give business to local eateries can still enjoy their travel.
Its not about livelihood. They have already earned a lot and enjoyed location monoply, evaded taxes. If the tax paying citizens want faster roads, govt. should stand with them.

This thatte idly hotels charging 80rs per plate and looting public money and making money laks together without any quality, I can reach home and have my food without spending any money in hotels, save time, save petrol and less tension on traffic, everyone knows how painful was travelling this two city earlier.

They r no small businesses.... They are millionaires.. They can easily shift.....the expressway will create lot more avenues as this will improve mysore and blr connectivity... Huge manufacturing sector will start coming providing lakhs of jobs.. It is not right to blame the express way as there was immense competition and even shashi idli has lost its quality and taste... It was anyway a hyped. Real estate has gone up Exhorbitantly which has benefitted all the landowners on both sides of expressway
