My mom didn’t loved the idea of me getting an aquarium, so I had to put it away in a room where almost no one sees it. Now I have it for about 4years, she has seen how much work, time and money I’ve spent on it. And she really fell in love with my Betta. She now bought a cabinet to have my tank on it in the living-room 😂

I don't think you can propagate asparagus ferns, but you can rotate it to promote growth to the areas that are further away from the light right now. If you turn it 25% every week you should end up with a ballancet looking plant. :)

Your asparagus fern is doing well due to the humidity been near tanks. You'll find a lot of plants will do well in your studio provided you water when needed Purley because of the high humidity in there.

For the house plant you can trim it. It does kinda grow like aquarium plants I was a horticulturist for a long time. If you trim it cut the part you want rite by the node you can get a rooting hormone to put on the cut end and plant in soil, keep humidity kinda high on plant maybe with a plastic container over it or spray regularly. Plant wont have roots to take in water so it will through the leaves any questions let me know. I'd love to help keep up your amazing content.

Asparagus fern: to balance the growth you’ll want light(s) over all of it. Notice the new growth is heading toward the lights on the two tanks? And like others have said, you propagate it by splitting the root ball.
NOTE: asparagus FERN is NOT the same plant as edible asparagus. They are the same genus, but different species. The only edible member of the genus is asparagus officinalis.

Most of the fish can be alimented with granulated food, if it reaches the bottom of the tank, the corys will eat it.
I you want to feed your corys they have like little pills that get into the bottom quickly, and they start eating them

Peacock gudgeons like protein foods, and ottos are herbivores, so I would go some type of guppy/betta food for the gudgeons and tetras, and some sinking mini algae wafers to keep everyone else happy 👍🏼 doesn’t hurt also to throw in some frozen foods once in a while to keep them healthy

Uhm i would do a mix of flakes granulates or realy small pellets and variety of frozen foods a bit of the right save live foods (bloodworms and cyclops maybe waterflees) and an feedin wafer orso maybe algea wafer

For your bottom dwellers, I would recommend Hikari algae wafers. My nerites love it. The otos will definitely eat the wafers, the corys will too, but they also will eat any leftover food from the other fish.

I guess I should count myself lucky that my partners favorite tanks are our naturalistic blackwater tanks

It would be great to have you talk about water parameters for each tank. I noticed you have caridinia and neo,s. Do you adjust your water differently to each species needs? Love the gorgeous work, more nerdy details would be brilliant.

Hey MD I was wondering how you have your electrical system set up because I am thinking of doing a fish room. Thanks.
