@jeffdaniels7237 had a buddy take his 5yr old on a Chinese little pos quad and he was wearing crocs. His little foot got caught in between the chain n sprocket and he lost his big toe and half of the one next to it. I'm a parent myself but I panicked, seeing a kid that age bleeding like that.....horrible. I drove them to the hospital and on my life, that kid didn't cry. After that I don't let my kid start his dirtbike let alone ride without MX boots.

Except those guys learned on bikes their own size. There's a reason they make bikes for little kids, so they can learn the physics of riding, and then move up to bigger bikes as they grow up. One crash on this thing and the kid is dead. One crash on a little 50cc bike might scratch him up a bit but he would be fine. There isn't a pro racer on earth, bike or car, that started out riding the biggest fastest things right off the bat. Even road racers start in little 25cc go karts before they drive real cars. This is the equivalent of a 9 year old driving an F1 car already....

After making yourself somewhat relevant in her life by casually saying hello wait till mid April for the next (actual social encounter)
Now that you’ve said your “hellos” you can finally move onto the second phase of social interaction, ask her “anything crazy going on this weekend” don’t try too hard to build conversation after that you’ll just end up sounding retarded, if she asks you what you’re doing simply respond “ nothing crazy might work on my car if the weathers good” the less she knows about you at this point the better,

I know you think it’s cool but accidents do happen in bigger bikes. I was a pro racer, won many first place trophies driving bikes since I was 5, knew how to handle one. Was 10 years old and had a bad accident. Was flying down the side of the road and the back of the bike hit some loose dirt and I lost control hitting a pole. Was airlifted from scene, in a coma for 3 weeks, punctured a lung, broke my shoulder, broke my wrist, had minor brain damage, the handle bars almost cut my dick off, was 1” away and they were stuck in me. Had to get several stitches. Was walking around with a crooked head and my shoulder drooped down. After getting out of the hospital 6 weeks later I had to make several trips back a month to start learning shit all over again. Wasn’t a fun time. Was only in grade 5 at the time. To this day my body is still deformed

I can remember being around 10 or 11 and I was at a function and there was a 250 and I asked to ride it and they laughed….. the owner said if you can get on it and ride then sure you can ride it. I found a piece of wood and put it on the left side, put the kick stand up, held myself up on the wood to start it and took off…. I did fall off and it fell over when I went to stop.

Id take any bike... especially the 87 Kx250 i had. It was a bit ugly, but i called it the incrdible hulk because it was green with a purple frame and blue seat and i was amazed it never completely fell apart.

My youngest got put on a cr125 at 10 years old. Worst mistake I've made. He's fine but wild as a 16 year old can be on a machine now. Pretty soon I'll not be able to keep up to him.

Nope, if you cant kick it or touch the ground sitting down you shouldn't be on it! Especially a 9 year old. I've been around 35 years and i took steps learning as i went. This bike to that. I watched friends with idiot parents do this and then later wonder why they almost lost thier son. O well what do i know, that kid it totally capable of throwing around that bike and taking corners.

The rut works great! My dad and cousins would put a bucket next to their bikes so I could ride. Had a blast everytime until it was time to stop 😂 If someone wasn't outside to grab the bike I'd bail to the left at about 3mph and try holding it up. Taught him pretty good, he launches it a lot better than I did!

I don’t have a problem with this. I love to see it. But I knew a kid back in the day that had a cr 250 at 11 years old. He said his dad said he’d grow into it. That same summer he hit a tree and died while riding in South Carolina. Of course that happens even to adults. But I think about him every time I see a kid on a bigger bike.

It that age my main racing bike was a 85cc but I had no competition in my age group so my dad got me a 125 to race with older guys and I had to have one foot on a milk crate at the starting gate 😂. Must have been crazy seeing a small kid jump over you and pass you.

There was nothing better at that age than getting on a 125 two stroke, it was so powerful when I was so small…in my day the YZ 125 was red and white, how about you guys? Please comment and tell me what you rode as a kid?

I was 10 on a Honda 250 I use to have two plastic milk crests one on each side that’s how I stoped 😂 I learned to have a 2nd or 3rd set set up farther ahead incase I missed the first my dad moved them when he was mowing and I remember just having to jump off while holding the bike up so then I would just do that then to get on id just do the same let the bike start going forward and then jump on and off I went
