Those cons you mentioned sound like the cons in any other colleges in Boston (or anywhere in big/mega cities.) I think the cons are mostly competition for international students. NEU is a B-tier school in town and there are so (if not too) many int students competing while sharing similar background. Co-op is a perk, but if anybody can have such thing to distinguish himself then he might need to go way beyond to separate his profile from the co-op-rich pool.

For example, please include nodes like if you get coops, then 6 mos. extra, if you get assistantships, then 10 credits bonus, etc. Also, regarding the fees, please make a video on when, how and how much fees does one have to pay in NSU. The tuition price tag is only worth it if they give you merit money. My son was accepted as a finance major but wasn’t given any scholarships. As a finance major, he was smart enough to know that $80k per year is not a sound academic plan. He would be paying that off forever or my husband and I would be dipping into retirement.

Khoury is the name of the college of Computer Science at NEU which offers MS in CS. Unlike the Engineering College at NEU or other universities which has CS department, NEU has special college named Khoury dedicated for CS.

International students are able to complete co-ops as well! There are many opportunities for them in the U.S. and around the world, and mainly only U.S. government co-ops require U.S. citizenship (and very few at that).
@@glamour0111 its tricky i have searched for it, they offer a 18 month program and you must extend it to get upto 3 years and its costly, its a satellite campus and doesn't provide a full masters degree it provides a degree for professional, in other words they altered the regular masters and skimmed the shitty research and thesis etc parts of regular masters and gave it a new name professionals , thats it
Its still better than graduate diploma and certificates , if i had that much money i would have gone for it, because at the end of the day its masters, and you can trick the interviewer in future by the magic of words 😂 to believe, and also it gives you access to the NEU vast company networks which alone worth a lot

I have 10 years of experience in IT. I heard there is discrimination/baiseness among 3 colleges considering job fare, co-op, etc. 1. The administration, prof supports and helps a lot for CCIS, COE students to get co-op. CPS-college if professional studies 2. Job fair are private to CCIS students (COE, MPS students are not allowed) and sometime other students are allowed to take part in the job fare on next day not on same day as CCIS students. Please guide.

No you don't need to, you'd only need to pay your campus dorm fee (if you are staying in one)
