    Shanelsomething is not only a prodigy on the tennis court and classroom but also one of the most talented video creators I have ever seen. He is truly on the same level as MrBeast and dudeperfect. Thank you for changing my life shane.

    ShaneIsomething truly encompasses the epitome of Northeastern. His videos are simple and informative and yet helpful behold belief. The only critique I can offer is a name change, perhaps from “shaneIsomething” to “ShaneIsEveything”.

    Could you please give some suggestions for winter clothing for students coming to Boston for the first year? My son get into Northeastern, we live in California, it seems Boston's winter is cold and wet.

    • @shanelsomething

      Hi Sonya, Boston weather differs a lot annually however, it starts getting colder around late Oct, early November. Would recommend packing some long sleeve/pants, but heavier jackets can wait til after the winter break in December. Snowfall differs every year, but typically Jan-March are the coldest days. Hope this helps, and let me know if u have any other questions!

    what's been your favorite part about northeastern? I'm currently struggling to pick between BU and NEU. also what was the financial aid process like for you? thank you so much!!

    • @shanelsomething

      hello! my fav part of northeastern has to be the co-op experiences and experiential learning. northeastern advisors make the process very smooth and you gain a lot of industry and professional experiences even before you graduate and search for a full time role. Additionally, co-ops are integrated within the academic curriculum whereas at other schools you may have to take time off to complete an internship/co-op. Would recommend calling the financial aid office when you have questions/concerns as that's how I've gotten most of my inquiries answered. Best of luck with your decision!

    Thx for sharing, I'm wondering to apply NEU this year. Is it possible to live off-campus in freshman year?

    • @shanelsomething

      Hello, you’ll be required to live on-campus your first two years unless you have a special circumstance that permits you to live off campus.

    can you transfer your major from CPS to other school in NEU?

    • @shanelsomething

      hello, I’ve heard it’s a completely different degree program where the credits wouldn’t immediately transfer to NEU undergrad but I don’t know too much regarding CPS sorry, would be best to reach out to cps admissions/advising directly!

    • @shanelsomething

      Hello, not entirely sure if this will make a difference but you could have your kid send a "letter of continued interest" to the admissions office to let them know that NEU a top option. Good luck!
