Although this may look a bit rough the freeze branding is so much better than the tattoos some animals get in their ears . It’s mostly uncomfortable for the animal to be caged in like this but thankfully it’s only for a few short minutes
Not to mention what if the horse gets stolen or lost. If someone finds it, they cannot contact you because the horse doesn't have any identification on it

Id never buy a horse with somsones branding on it guess some people dont mind.
I don’t mind that way your know who the horse is and where it came from
