    I do similar with the pre hydration but during I use the Precision hydration tabs with course water.

    What shoes will you be wearing for the comrades marathon ?
    I am going to participate in our national road championship 100K and not sure about shoe choise yet

    what shoes you prefer for Comrades? Something more cushioned like - Brooks Ghost Max or NB 1080 or carbon?

    Good luck. Enjoy an incredible day. Can't wait to hear your experience. Might see you out there. I do a gel every 5K and a chew every 5K. Then I eat banana and oranges along the way as they have them there

    I run for health, and as a diabetic in remission i’m not a fan of any refined sugars in any form. Still trying to figure out what’s the best fuel for my needs.

      @@dnice362 it’s still just refined carbs and saturated fat - the two things that are most detrimental for long term health.

      @@Seanonyoutube it’s oatmeal real fruit and almost butter. It’s the healthiest you’ll find. That was my point. And if you run less than 2 hours or under 13 miles you won’t need any of it. If you run for endurance or marathon races then it’s what your body needs to replenish
