Donkey Kong 64's Final Battle Recreated in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with Spirits

- Here is Donkey Kong 64's final boss recreated in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the help of spirits and the various game rules you can mess with. I'll go through each character:
Donkey Kong: No stage hazards, the only item on for this match was the Launch Star, this is supose to be the barrel blast barrel DK goes in to slam into K. Rool.
Diddy Kong: The only items on here were the rocket belt and ray gun. These items are supose to represent Diddy's rocket barrel and peanut pop guns from DK64. Hazards are on here so that Diddy can bring down the arena lights like in DK64.
Lanky Kong (Diddy Kong): Hazards off, the only items on here are bananas, banana guns and containers / barrels. The containers here contain bananas like in DK64 that cause K. Rool to slip.
Tiny Kong (Isabelle): Used a Dixie Kong spirit since Tiny Kong is only a support spirit. Mini Mushrooms were turned on here to represent Tiny's shrink ability in DK64. Hazards off.
Chunky Kong (Incineroar): Hazards off and final smash metor on. Incineroar starts off giant with the help of support spirits and Super Mushrooms are on here to represent Chunky's giant ability.
The music wasn't modded in, just edited in.

This is exactly what Sakurai would want people to do with spirits.
Except modding Music and the Outro Effect, lol. :P
Lame concept. I would've had happily traded the entire adventure mode and the spirits system for online that wasn't utter garbage. The For Fun/For Glory modes of the Wii U predecessor made for better online than the hot mess that your boi Sak permitted.

DK64 is my favorite game of all time, so this was really fun to make. Tiny is only a support spirit so Dixie took her spot. All battle info can be found in the description.

This HD remake of DK64 is quite different from the original. Even more so than the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy in comparison to the original PS1 trilogy.

This was creative in so many ways and I am glad I watched the whole thing. DK64 was one of my favorite games as well and I’m so glad I was able to see this video. The music and the battle brings back so many memories!
Same you know what would be cool if you could actually play Lankey, Tiny, and Chunky in Ultimate since K.Rool is now a playable character in Super Smash Bro's.

When i saw there weren't have trophies i became a bit sad but when i saw that spirits can make representations of non playable characters i noticed that trophies are pretty bad beside spirits. They aren't just the stickers. Congratulations for this work :) your represetation of K Rool figth was just AMAZING
The thing that trophies have over spirits are descriptions. Without trophies in brawl I didn’t know who the fuck any of the characters are. I wish that the fighter spirits had descriptions at the very least

Wow Amazing Video. The Musics, the Ideas, the Outro, the Final Smash of both of them that perfectly fit (+the end of the game right after Incineroar final Hit) and the Ending! It was magic to watch! Congrats! Sakurai would loves that video! ^^
Kinda wish with all the new music we got we'd get DK64 K.Rool fight music in it, even if it was just the original. It fits so well with Smash!

You should recreate the Donkey Kong country one with Donkey and Diddy on a team (Diddy being a lvl 3 CPU) and a level 9 King K. Rool on pirate ship.
Or maybe a second player could control King K. Rool to make him favour side specials and act a little bit more like he did in the original game.
Actually, the more I think about it the more these recreations sound like Spirit Board battles.
this is just starting, imagine all the thinks you can make with spirits!

Dude awesome video, was replicated very well and entertaining for sure. My only suggestion would’ve been to play on the omega form for all except Diddy’s battle but good job nonetheless.
Also DK64 is my favorite N64 game as well.

I won't lie, this is sheer genius. A Bomberman spirit battle where everyone is throwing around Bob-ombs, Smart Bombs, and Bombers would also be rad.

Been subbed for a long time in your streams sometimes and this was in my recommended and is genius, I would love to do this with Banjo & Kazooie, King K. Rool, and Bayonetta, maybe even some characters like Sans for Mumbo or even Mumbo and Bottles as Miis or something :)

It would be way better if you could set CPU behavior in ways beyond levels, like "CPU favors side specials" during Diddys section to replicate his primary way of attacking in that phase of 64, but with crowns instead of gloves

Is dk bigger than k.rool? I mean, at least k. Rool should be taller.
k.rool is taller than dk
They had to resize K Rool in game. he's bipedal so if he was bigger than DK (who's max normal model size for smash), his head would peak over battlefield platforms. Same reason Ridley's so small. Both character should be at least twice as tall as DK but then they wouldn't work

In a refusal to to accept defeat, King K. Rool gets ready to pounce on Incinaroar while he was busy basking in the crowd's praise. However, K. Rool get distracted by Princess Peach. Captain Falcon struts in carrying a Bullet Bill while K. Rool is preoccupied with Peach. Captain Falcon fires the Bullet Bill, it hits K. Rool and sends him flying out of the arena.
Would of made more sense if K Rool was always giant

How do you use spirits outside of adventure mode? Whenever I try to select them, it only gives me the option of "No Spirit."
You have to make a Spirit team thing in the Collection section of the Spirits menu.
I love how it turned into a banana throwing battle towards the end of the Lanky Kong part.
Also, seeing Isabelle as Tiny made me laugh. Lol

I know K. Rool always gets launched at the end of a match, but I like to think of K. Rool getting launched at the end of Chunky’s match was due to Funky’s big boot like in 64.

How do i set individual hp... for example... player one starts with 100 hp and player 2 starts with 150 hp
DK64 stages could have been used. Imagine Mad Jack as a stage with Mad Jack in the background firing at who ever as well as the switches.

I'm joking, if you can't tell. Aside from that, this is really cool and creative. This feels like it ought to have been a tiny section on World of Light with the five Kongs in their DK64 incarnations as spirits in a boxing ring, and to get them you have to do all their parts in the final K. Rool battle.
