- Fresh Clashes Reported Between Junta Soldiers & Rebels Near Thai-Myanmar border
Fresh clashes broke out between Myanmar’s Junta soldiers and armed rebels near the country’s border with Thailand. The clashes around Myanmar’s crucial trading town of Myawaddy were confirmed by the Thai Army. The clashes followed fierce fighting between the Junta soldiers and rebels who “targeted” the troops taking shelter under a bridge connecting Myanmar and Thailand. The fight forced Junta soldiers to withdraw from their positions in the town which enabled trade worth $1.1 billion in the last 12 months. Myanmar Police have moved around 2,000 people to safety in neighbouring Thailand which has now closed the bridge and has deployed soldiers on stand-by. Thailand PM Srettha Thavisin said he is closely monitoring the situation and that the country is ready to protect its borders and people. Myanmar has been reeling under severe crisis ever since the military Junta seized power in 2021 but it struggles to contain resistance from rebel groups.

So they're still rebels at the end of the day. If they're win we could called them revolutionaries but right now they're not.
Seeing how little people care about Myanmar despite decades of civil war makes you wonder if it's a good thing or bad that Myanmar does not have any resources that the world wants.

They don't care if border seal or not. There have been some incursions into Thai border several times now. First it was just drones but now some patrols have encounter rebel units attempted to cross the border possibly in attempt to pincer the Junta troops.
