Anjanath was the monster that made me have to decide if Monster Hunter was a game for me. Now that I’m replaying the game, I didn’t realize how many monsters I fought before the Anjanath quest. I just remember Anjanath and how hard he was back then. I’m glad I stuck with it, because World is my favorite game of all time.
Late to comment, but maybe you’ll see this. A good way to break the back of a rathian is to mount and instead of stabbing just sit on her back and bait her to try to crush you. After 3-4 attempts to crush you against a wall she’ll break her own back. This works on rathalos and legiana as well.
This has been amazing to watch you return to world. Never did get into it properly (lots hours on Rise) - Now I'm going to play World over my holiday. Either going Lance, Charge Blade or HH.

I mained HH on my second playthrough of world. HH in world is amazing. Takes some getting used to but when you get it.. oh boy. Highly recommend it!

I now love this game and have learned a ton since watching your videos, and now to help the community. If you have experienced hellish glitches after the geforce experience update, switch to DX12 in the settings, it should fix it. Granted we shouldn't have these issues to begin with, but this just made my day go from horrible to awesome!

One thing I hated about the clutch claw was the monster staggers that interrupted weapon combos. Hated having to upkeep tenderizing, but that eventually got patched to last three minutes, thank Gog.
You can just jump down where the waterfall trap is and jog over to the camp. Apparently fall damage isn't a thing for eggs either.
On the GL thing I hope they bring Blast dash to Wilds but make it so it spends all ammo. Also fully agree with bullet barrage, not only is it too strong it reloads wyvern fire which is insane. I do hope we have the extra playstyles that the switch skills allow, if people don't like not having access to the full kit from the get go, just make it available from the start. I miss having the option to switch between guard reload and quick reload.
Funny enough I was without internet past month and without knowing anything about the whole return to world thing I also started a new charater and am currently 200 hours into my new save. I just love the more methodical aspects of world. I played a LOT of Risebreak, but it gets stale MUCH faster because there's a point you're literally going into hunt beating mon in a couple minutes going back, repeat.
One thing though, I hope the SoS system from Wilds integrates the possibility of choosing random quests to join in as well, sometimes I want to help out with whatever and always having to choose is bad and not being able to choose from the available SOSs (like in risebreak) is also bad. So let's have both in Wilds I hope.

I don't know about 50 people but a 12-16 raid could be cool. I.E. Three to four teams of four against a massive boss with unique and lair mechanics sounds very interesting. Could even add in more after game with dlc or content updates giving players something to keep them busy until next game.
You know for the egg quest, just kill the Rathian then you can carry the 2 eggs after without worry.
Hey man love the content. Following for a few years now.
A few things. You were saying why is the clutch claw shown and not used. Clutch claw was shown in 2nd vid with Jyuratodus used to grab gold beetles. You can grab gold beetles throughout the environment. Just not on to large monsters.
And in egg quest, you can go to top camp. You have to open the wall first. Go to nest and slide down. go left instead of right and go straight across to the wall. There is a push wall there to go into camp. Open it up and then you can easily run there with the eggs. For even easier run, throw on your ghillie mantle.
I'm playing MHW on my PS5 using my iMac 5K 27" Retina monitor. It works great!

Embarrassing moment, I returned to world this month following all these streams, I was having a cartless run all the way until the stupid Paolumu of all things not Rathian not Anjanath...Paolumu was my first cart 😂
On the note of switch skills, whether they return or not i want to still be able to shoryuken monsters with the SnS. It was fun. Helped me get ko's, and was a hilarious counter.

I had played Tri and struggled and Lagi as my first wall, so when I played MHW for the first time years later I didn’t struggle up until Diablos.
Hated fighting either of the Diablos in Tri, and got walled again by them in World. After that though, Nergi was the real wall for me. I knew I could beat Diablos with a few attempts, but Nergigante took me multiple sessions to beat.
Funny how the monsters that walled me are some of my favorite monsters in the series now. Lagiacrus, Nergigante, Raging Brachydios, Alatreon, Fatalis. Heck man, I even appreciated Plesioth after he fish slapped me around in Tri 😂 this game makes me a masochist

Loving the return to world playing it over too but can you add which part for the series if I miss a day
The Rathian Charge Blade Dear Lutemis is particularly powerful because in World you can get it with only 1 Rathian Spike. So if you hunt and kill the Rathian in The Best Kind of Quest, you can have that weapon before you even tackle Anjanath for the first time. It’s crazy how early you get it.
Dammit Khan, don't make me download this game for the tenth time! It lived on my console for 2 straight years already.

I one enjoy rise I don’t like the controller and I wish it didn’t come out on switch only. I’m glad it’s on PlayStation but what I will say is that if you don’t like to switch skills if they end up in the next game, don’t use them for one love rise I hope the next one wildlands it’s like rise and world had a babythat both
