I had a similarly sized Victorinox One-handed Trekker for almost 10 years until I damaged it and Victorinox Australia kindly replaced it. Love the size in hand and pocketability compared to a large multitool.
What a beaut! My understanding is that Victorinox ships the walnut scales out untreated. Do you do any maintenance on the wood scales on yours, like oiling or waxing? Btw, the cork screw is a very handy tool for undoing knots on rooe or paracord that you wish to reuse! 🇨🇦 🇨🇭 🇦🇺
Hi mate I have not done any oiling/waxing of the wood, probably should but I haven't bothered. Nice tip with the cork screw! I was wondering why else they'd include it apart from opening champagne bottles .. which I never do
Hi, i own the ranger wood and to me it seems like its plastic rather than wood, if you hit the platez with your nails it sound empty like plastic, what do you think
I use a tungsten carbide sharpening tool with diamond bits. They have two overlapping rods that you drag the blade through. Can find them easily on Amazon.

That's right, they come with a lifetime warranty... I thought this had a very sturdy locking mechanism and decent sized blade so ended up getting it.

When you're using the flat head screw driver on the bottle opener (not the can opener) and push down it, it actually locks itself from closing.
Thank you for the tip mate, I haven't used that one much, if at all actually. Not much of a drinker these days.
I wasn't going to get a Victorinox but the logo was a big plus
You mean the logo with the button? Makes it very easy to close it.
Thanks for the vid. Can't wait for mine to arrive 🤣
Thanks buddy, it's one of my favourites :D
Hello. Tell me please how to maintain the wood whit oil or so.
Thank you
Not sure mate. I haven't oiled it since buying.

The exterior is definately made of wood. I shaved a bit off and also have dented it as well over the years, it acts like wood.
Can you get a sheath for it, made by victorinox? Good vid thankyou
Yeah there are quite a few if you check on Amazon. But I don't use one myself.
I have This knife how do you Sharpen?
