    I love shots like this and it's really cool to see the difference between Top Fuel and then Pro Mod and so on down the line and how the slicks perform different ways. Really awesome footage of everything working together!

      If you mark them lengthwise and check, they twist and at some measurable point they need replaced

    Antisquat is dialed perfectly. There is an initial jolt at :52 that barely touches the snubbers, then it goes down the track at mid stroke.

      Good ol' low psi drag tires. If you yo to :51 and put it at x.25 playback speed you can watch the tires wrinkle and fold on take off as they grip the road and dump all the energy being transferred.

      Yeah but they shouldnt and its oretty easy to make them not to, the only reason theres a suspension there is to prevent the tires from exploding because of the stress. You see, if the cars rear go down as you expected the rear wing wouldnt do its job properly and the front would raise, causing an accident

      That's what the setup of a 4 link drag car is for it pushes the axle into the ground instead of squatting like a IRS drag car would do

    I feel like 4 link axles are the best rear suspension setup for almost anything tbh since they handle so well.

    For those of you with a keyboard, pressing < or > ( , or . ) while paused will do frame-by-frame on TH-cam. Sometimes it takes a moment to load.

    Very bound up. Take a look and think! Very little transfer with about a 100lb spring. And basically no side movement so probably picks up wheels turning off the track

    Looking at this rear end from this position, my favorite spot is just a couple inches below the rear. I’ll bet it gets wet there depending on track conditions. I probably wouldn’t last long holding on.

    Alot less flex than I thought I guess drag tires might be easier on it compared to a radial. The track also is nice shape to. Loved it

    That suspension twisting is creating extra vertical and lateral load on one side of the tire. Middle run, that forces equalized maybe the payment is flat ahead.

    I feel the tires are over inflated... reason being the contact patch does go all the way across when they burnout . You can see some of the untouched rubber towards the inside of wheel.. 🤔🤔🤔

    Why are brake disc holes needed? I heard it is marketing and functionally it was in the days of composite brake linings when there was a lot of gas when braking. and holes were needed for these gases to escape from under the surface of the brake lining. modern steel linings do not emit gases in operation, so holes just a reduction in the working area
