And as well there are many great boys choirs throughout the world with that special boy treble that briefly comes by. But ah yes.. Aksel was one of the best for sure.

What a transformation of sorts. I just listened to him perform Lascia Chio Pianga at the age of 14, and now to hear him singing baritone at 19 years of age. If I didn't know I'd swear it was a different person. What a day that must've been when his voice finally 'cracked.'

Indescribably beautiful. This is an art video. Both sound and image. The sound reminded me of one of my favorite Marian Anderson recordings from 1930. The sound engineer applied damping and "aged" Aksel's voice and the sound of the piano. This is not a live human vocal, and not a live sound of the piano. The direction of the clip reminded me of one of the best horror films, filled with irresistible inanimate beauty. A very strong aesthetic impression.

Every time I comment on your newest video, I say the same things -- beautiful tone, wonderful expression, great sensitivity, totally enjoyable. So glad to learn that you are in the Royal Academy of Music. I am not a singer, but I grew up in the 60's hearing Dietrich Fischer-Diskau often on WFMT, Chicago and loved his singing. Indescribably beautiful. This is an art video. Both sound and image. The sound reminded me of one of my favorite Marian Anderson recordings from 1930.
The sound engineer applied damping and "aged" Aksel's voice and the sound of the piano. This is not a live human vocal, and not a live sound of the piano. The direction of the clip reminded me of one of the best horror films, filled with irresistible inanimate beauty. A very strong aesthetic impression.
