I cannot but wonder how or in what direction this beautiful voice will go, tenor or counter or indeed who can tell. Whatever is the result of his future development it can only be beautiful to the ear. I am 92 years old and I can only hope that I live long enough to hear him sing as a young man .

Aksel Rykkvin INDEED young man. I had a beautiful soprano voice @ the age of 5. It is truly an inherited gift. Later I was a tenor in the concert choir in secondary school. My choirs Teacher insisted that I apply/audition to Juilliard etc. To this day I still sing @ 68 yrs old. I consider myself a tenor baritone LOL. Writing as someone who merely appreciates good music and indeed,Artists of all types, I find this, and so many of his other performances ,to be absolutely superb. The way he interprets the music and uses this incredible instrument that he has at his disposal ,albeit tor far too short a time , is very, very special. We are so fortunate that he has been able to record so many of his performances. I can only thank him and wish him all the very best for his future singing career,,now as a Baritone. For me this will remain the ultimate rendition of this beautiful Handel aria. All the more remarkable that the singer, a musician through and through, is of such a tender age. Poignantly bitter sweet that this remarkable voice is by and of its nature so transient.
