Hi Shade, what a brilliant idea! I would keep the island light, in order not to make the room darker. The handles on the wardrobe and the island are black and the shelf is dark as well, I think the island as it is ties nicely with the wall and the wardrobe.

Re painting, I would wait until spring and see how the room looks then, lighting wise. Long term Shade you should take an interior design course so if the influencer job doesn't last or you get fed up you have another career option. All the designs you have come up with in this and your last house have been unique. "Shade Interiors "really does have a good ring to it? Or what about online courses that people subscribe to? the unnecessary and unused space at the back of dressers 🙄 i always feel cheated out of at least 5 cm drawer depth. i can imagine a darker color with some special hardware. just try it, you are so talented in choosing color shades. looking forward to another video! 😉

A matt metallic brass or pewter finish would be nice for the island.

Forgot to ask, for your bathroom did you have to use a moisture resistant mdf? Thinking about doing a similar job.
