What??????!!!!!!!.....There is no such thing as "Just game of thrones"!!!!! I would have gone crazy if I were there. The work that had to go into coordinating those two bands. The work of a college marching band by itself is no joke......those two together is awesome!!! Well done!!!! I love it!! Is the crowd asleep or what?

My mom is a professional cellist who often plays weddings. She was literally aked to play Rains of Castamere for a wedding one time. When I showed her the scene it was from after her gig, she was mortified that someone would have her play such a piece for a wedding.
@@WillCMay Well, technically it's the song of their house. The two houses were at war, so that's why hearing the song of the opposing house was so ommonous. It is honestly a great song, and they survive for quite awhile.
Personally, if I went that direction I'd want multiple house songs.. but I have the hindsight of knowing about Jenny of Oldstones. That's just beautiful music.

Why the lords of the great houses agree that a Stark would be the king and the North would be independent? Why the unsullied and the dothrakis leave Westeros peacefully after destroying KL and their queen was killed? Why the dothrakis didn't follow their tradition and follow Jon after killing their Khaleesi? Why Grey Worm didn't try to fight Jon after killing Daenerys? Who will be the next king? Will be so easy to choose a leader after Bran or there would be another big unneccesary war? Why Tyrion isn't mention in the book when he was a very important man in all the years who followed King Robert's death?
It is not a logical ending because it leaves more questions than answers

@Yowatsapp 05 That's what made it fun, and when you enjoy something you can make it fun for everyone else. Running up and down those stadium stairs and pushing your section to be the best. We had the ROTC Major do our camp, he made us work but it created a better team and the camaraderie amongst the band. I understand the heatbeing that I played sousaphone I understand the sun beaming down upon your face. But I guess to each his own.😉

I was at the game. They don't mic the crowd so it's had to hear the reaction. But also, it was halftime, and usually people sit and rest before the game restarts.
This was incredible. I feel like the crowd should be 10x as loud! One of the best soundtracks in the history of TV. Bet the band loved doing these songs.
Yet another example of how music can form amazing collaborations. This was an excellent concept that was executed brilliantly. Thank you for being great hosts to the Blue Band!

Adrian da best every single college student in America has heard of Game of Thrones and found a way to pirate the episodes if they couldn’t afford HBO Now or had the TV channel. Don’t act like it’s a nerd culture phenomenon only a select group in society know of and love. Literally everyone in America, hell, Europe as well, knows the show. Everyone. There’s no way a giant crowd in Michigan who showed up to cheer for their college team don’t know GOT and can’t appreciate it. There’s a reason the bands picked that music; it was such a pop culture star at the time. I can only imagine how many papers were being submitted in colleges using Game of Thrones as a backdrop or thesis in some way.

oh i realized something!!! cersei said, "when you play the game of thrones you win or yo die. there is no middle ground." even tho daenarys didn't like the decisions she made she still believed they were decisions that were necessary. she was basically applying the same unspoken rule that cersei and all who ruled before her in order to create her new world.. but in doing so she herself became victim to the very same "wheel" she intended to break. jon delivered the blow that killed her but tyrion is the one who broke the wheel. he suggested that the high houses be able to choose who their king or ruler shud be instead of it being a birth right. also cersei stated that there was no middle ground. jon and tyrion created a middle ground. they both betrayed their initial choice as ruler but both didnt die thus destroying the unspoken rule or "wheel" completely

@@patricksnavely7506 They probably rehearsed their own parts of the drill independently, then did a dress rehearsal or two together before the game. It's impressive!

Nobody has pointed out that it should be a seven-pointed star instead of eight?
Probably a problem with the amount of people in the band. It may have been difficult to fit all those members into a lesser amount of points.
Also, a problem of symmetry, seeing as one point would have to have half Michigan and half Penn players.

This is truly stunning! Unfortunately, my son's high school band director refuses to evolve. They are doing some kind of music from the 1920s. Meanwhile, one of their rivals is doing a Beyonce theme.
Honeysuckle Jones when my son was drum major for his high school band he had the same issue. The other high schools were doing a lot of modern music. So being a rebel, he taught the marching band a more modern song. At the last football game, he led the band onto the field playing Party Rock 😂😂😂. The look on his band teachers face was priceless 😂 ! The people in the stands went wild so his band teacher just smiled like, “We’ll played Zack. Well played.”
@@PSBartlett that is amazing lol! Well, unfortunately his director, being the disrespectful napoleon syndrome asshole he is, is why my son dropped band. I really hate it but he is unbelievable hateful to the kids and parents. Principal won't do anything so I just pulled him from it.

Why are there so many negative comments for the 8th season?
King of Travel a lot of people don’t appreciate the intense ending. They wanted a cookie cutter Dany defeats Cersei happily ever after ending. Regardless of how it is ending, I think it’s a bit rushed: the writers were offered up to 10 seasons to finish, with 10 episodes each. That seems a bit much, but 7 episodes in 7 and 6 in 8 is very disappointing because it leaves a very “we have to end this and move on” mentality from the writers. The finale of 7 seasons buildup for a terrifying villain(NK) was 1 EPISODE. Yes, it was a terrific episode, but 1 nevertheless. Seeing as we didn’t witness the downfall of Last Hearth and were just twiddling our thumbs for 2 episodes until the Army of the Dead arrived at Winterfell, 1 episode was just too quick. My opinion is for s8, should have been:
E1-same
E2-same, but we should have witnessed Last Hearth(maybe that wasn’t in the budget🙄)
E3-dramatic buildup to the battle, ends with them both charging or something
E4-pretty much the same as E3, but doesn’t end with NK dead, ends with the illusion of him winning, standing over Bran
E5- opens on a destroyed Winterfell, maybe they could have retreated somewhere? Then sometime during the episode Arya does her stuff
E6-same as the current 4
E7-I think they could have more buildup to the battle for Kings Landing, also. It was rly rushed imo
E8-Battle, same as the current 5
E9-aftermath, and Jon realizes what he needs to do, maybe some back and forth in the North? Nothing happened there in the last episode, let’s see what’s going on?
E10-Finale, Jon does what needs to be done, then they have to deal with Drogon😥 and there’s a whole bunch of Unsullied and Dothraki, idek how they would handle their queens assassination, probably NOT WELL.
Whoever deserves it takes the Iron Throne.
(As I was typing Throne it auto corrected it to Theon and I almost cried 😂)
Personally, I don’t think Jon should be King. He is King in the North. I think either Gendry, or Sansa, or Tyrion.
