We had an expedition that the switch tripped. Could’ve been the rough4x4 road, could’ve been the hitch somebody put in the compartment with the inertia switch. Switch was in left rear storage compartment
I have a 06 f350 diesel. I showed that it water in the fuel tank. So I put 2 new fuel filters, 1 on top n 1 on the frame on the driver side. It ran good after I did that yesterday. It stopped on me as I was going to work this morning
My 04 ford f250 has 380 thousand miles. Runs great, stopped by stire came right out and ran for half a second. Great battery, has full tank of gas. Any ideas. I put a trouble shoter meter and meter didnt light up, but works on my wifes car. Any help appreciated
I’m have the same problem 2004 f250 6.8 v10 gas. Does this truck have a fuel module ? And we’re is the relay is it the fuse box it self. ? To test the relay I have to Connect to the plug that goes in the internal switch with a meter ? To see the voltage ?
Hi, My fuel pump work when I start the truck in the morning, but later on I try to turn on the truck n I only hear the fuel pump stay on a few 3 sec and then it is quiet? What do u think I could check next? I try all ur steps on this vid expect for the Module
THANKS! I'm trying to track down a mystery issue and ran across this video in the process. Question: The OBDII reader won't detect these faults? I know in the past I ran across some issues that the computer doesn't relay that shoulda. Thats why I ask.
I have an 07 f250 are you saying I can't change the fuel pump relay?. My truck runs and drives but stalls my dad said it was probably just the relay going
I got a 05 f250 6.0 powerstroke with a fass fuel system and just got the p0232 code but nothing has happened truck starts and goes so im kinda confused Code popped up out of no where and my climate control cluster lost power dont know if its related yet
I have f250 while driving down the interstate trunk gets up to 70 or 80 and will start to spudder and lose power and sometimes will die. After a few minutes will start back up and go a few blocks. No check engine light or code. Any suggestions
@@alexalvarez2398 it ended up not being the switch my fuel pump went bad. But iv heard you can wire the wires to the switch to bypass the switch. But I would recommend doing that since the switch is there for safety reasons

I have a 2006 6.0 and I am currently having issues with the vehicle I had code come up on the dashboard “BTC FAULT” the controller is operating just fine so I’m thinking it might be a fuses that pop. Any ideas?
Also my cruise control will not turn on. I have replaced the sensor on the brake master cylinder everybody talks about but still no cruise any ideas thank you.
Is the shock sensor inside this switch or does it receive a signal from somewhat else to turn off ? I have a 99 superduty 4x4 and do some off roading and mine has triggered during some rough jolts. this could be dangerous losing power on a steep hill. I would like to disable it.

Hey lehew, you seem to know your stuff. 2005 f350 6.0, and I cannot seem to find my ESOF/4x4 relays anywhere. I’ve looked all over the drive side of the engine bay. I was wondering is there a way to “back track” the wires coming from the transfer case, and follow where they go up into the engine bay? will they eventually lead me to the two ESOF relays? if not, do you know where the ESOF relays go towards, so that I can start at a spot and backtrack from there?
Lehew Tech They should be. I can’t find them there. I think the previous owner must have tucked them somewhere. that’s why I was wondering if you knew where the relays led to then i’ll just climb under the truck and trace them backwards
So I got a 04 6.0 and mine shut down while driving,I wiggle the wires on the driver side fender and started up then shut down after driving about 1000ft. I think it’s a wiring issue no fuel in the top fuel filter when you turn on the key like a open wire or a grounded wire maybe???
Thank you so much for sharing, this video is most helpful
Good looking out. It worked. I was about to call AAA. Thks
Excellent and very helpful vídeo my friend 👏🏼 I would love to get some more tips on 07 6.0 powerstroke.

In bypassing the inertia switch using a fuse, does ANY fuse work? 5? 10? 20? Can I use a short piece of wire?

I have an 04 f250 my inertia is stiff so I’m assuming it’s bad now if I just use write will that work as a bypass instead of using a fuse?

That one is not

is it the same for a 04 powerstroke

It is inside of the switch. Sometimes the switch can get too sensitive, i would try replacing it with a new part instead of disabling it

Those relays should be in the very small auxiliary relay box #3 located under the hood by the driver side fender.
