here's a guide to the group members for new people Avi: the bearded guy, he's the bass of the group. was replaced by Matt in 2017 when he left the group due to personal reasons (don't worry he's still on good terms with the rest of the group) Kirstin: also known as Kirstie, she's the only female of the group. I think she's a mezzo-soprano Scott: he's the baritone of the group, sings bass when Avi or Matt sings lead. he's the only naturally blonde in the group (kirstin likes to dye her hair blonde) Mitch: He's the high tenor, and lemme tell you, he sings high. he likes to change his style a lot. Kevin: the beatboxer of the group, but also has an amazing singing voice and plays the cello. (he also speaks like 4 languages too. number could be wrong and i'm not sure which ones tho) Matt: the bass of the group after Avi left in 2017. look at some of PTX's newer videos and you'll see him. he can't go quite as low as Avi, but still does an amazing job filling in that role.

A bunch of seniors at my school did this fo the winter choral concert and arts day, so I've heard their performance three times and haven't gotten tired of it. Their cover is beautiful.
For anyone interested on what the lyrics mean I looked it up and the songwriter said it was about the loss of his friends childhood innocence he was following the “pack” but then they started using drugs and that’s when Michael (one of his friends) “fell” which is like symbolic of him loosing his innocence. I also thought that the red scarves keeping their little heads from falling in the snow symbolize protection like the protection of their mother while snow can symbolize danger. My mind is kind of blown over that!
I remember that in fourth grade, we had to learn this song for our last presentation, I was chosen to be the lead voice, I had to sing in front of all my class, and for the first time, I felt admired. Then everyone asked me to sing other songs, and I was actually happy with school.

9 years. I remember my friend ages ago first telling me this song. She said she always wanted to sing like that and hoped I would sing with her too. That friend is gone now, and I suddenly had the memory of a few words of this song. I searched it up and found this, which actually brought tears to my eyes. I’ll always miss her.
I heard that the writers didn't have anything specific in mind when they wrote the lyrics, leaving them open to interpretation, so this how it sounds to me. I picture a pack of small children stampeding out into the first snowfall, and they all keep their scarves tucked up so they don't trip, but this one kid named Michael is stupid and doesn't tuck his scarf in so he trips over the dangling end and falls face first in the snow, but the snow isn't that deep yet, so he cuts his lip of a rock and his friends have to stop and fuss over him instead of enjoying the snow to the frustration of the song's narrator.
I imagined me going into a snowy forest (the snow is very deep) and dancing and singing. Then, when I see a pack of wolves, I follow them. They lead me to a group of people who's heads are barely attached. Then, Michael's (one of the people) head falls off. After that I just stand there in pure horror as all of their head collectively fall off. That's probably way too dark for Christmas though.
Actually, the guy who originally made it, he just made the actual notes and then threw some random words into it ( with a little but of sense ) so the song itself has no meaning. It actually really upset me when I first found out because my whole chorus class had put a lot of time and effort and learned to love it and it just had no meaning. It's still a beautiful song though.
Actually 😒 there is a very deep meaning and a very sad one. This song is WW2 song, people in those times had to wear red scarves to show loyalty to the Nazis. If you didn't wear your scarf you were killed because that meant you weren't showing loyalty to the Nazis. The main way of killenf was beheading or gun squad and if you got beheading your head would fall off and turn the snow red as strawberries in the summer time (because of the blood obviously)

A bunch of seniors at my school did this fo the winter choral concert and arts day, so I've heard their performance three times and haven't gotten tired of it. Their cover is beautiful.

For anyone interested on what the lyrics mean I looked it up and the songwriter said it was about the loss of his friends childhood innocence he was following the “pack” but then they started using drugs and that’s when Michael (one of his friends) “fell” which is like symbolic of him loosing his innocence. I also thought that the red scarves keeping their little heads from falling in the snow symbolize protection like the protection of their mother while snow can symbolize danger. My mind is kind of blown over that!

I remember that in fourth grade, we had to learn this song for our last presentation, I was chosen to be the lead voice, I had to sing in front of all my class, and for the first time, I felt admired. Then everyone asked me to sing other songs, and I was actually happy with school.

9 years. I remember my friend ages ago first telling me this song. She said she always wanted to sing like that and hoped I would sing with her too. That friend is gone now, and I suddenly had the memory of a few words of this song. I searched it up and found this, which actually brought tears to my eyes.

I heard that the writers didn't have anything specific in mind when they wrote the lyrics, leaving them open to interpretation, so this how it sounds to me. I picture a pack of small children stampeding out into the first snowfall, and they all keep their scarves tucked up so they don't trip, but this one kid named Michael is stupid and doesn't tuck his scarf in so he trips over the dangling end and falls face first in the snow, but the snow isn't that deep yet, so he cuts his lip of a rock and his friends have to stop and fuss over him instead of enjoying the snow to the frustration of the song's narrator.

I imagined me going into a snowy forest (the snow is very deep) and dancing and singing. Then, when I see a pack of wolves, I follow them. They lead me to a group of people who's heads are barely attached. Then, Michael's (one of the people) head falls off. After that I just stand there in pure horror as all of their head collectively fall off. That's probably way too dark for Christmas though.

I feel like this song has a deep meaning to it.
Actually, the guy who originally made it, he just made the actual notes and then threw some random words into it ( with a little but of sense ) so the song itself has no meaning. It actually really upset me when I first found out because my whole chorus class had put a lot of time and effort and learned to love it and it just had no meaning. It's still a beautiful song though.
Actually 😒 there is a very deep meaning and a very sad one. This song is WW2 song, people in those times had to wear red scarves to show loyalty to the Nazis. If you didn't wear your scarf you were killed because that meant you weren't showing loyalty to the Nazis. The main way of killenf was beheading or gun squad and if you got beheading your head would fall off and turn the snow red as strawberries in the summer time (because of the blood obviously)
