For the first time, I decorated 11/15. I didn’t bring out Thanksgiving decorations due to my sore leg. It was weird doing it so early, but so glad I got it done - hubby helped. Oh, my plans are done for 2023, but I got new haul so will probably change a month or two for new starts.
No Christmas spirit here this year. I live in a small studio apartment so I still manage to decorate and either put a tree against the wall or a wreath or a star etc with some lights. This year my son passed away in March and so I'm just trying to get through the holidays. I'll be fine. Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and a happy and prosperous New Year

It's always fun when one of your videos pops up! Shelly, my tree isn't up. All I've got is a wreath on the door. Doesn't mean I don't have Christmas spirit...just means I'm determined to keep my sanity during this crazy time of year by only doing what I can, when I can. So I'm enjoying all the lights that others have put up and the carols on the radio and the inner peace I get from taking time each day to reflect upon the real reason for the season. Yes I do! I stitched that on 36ct Chickpea by Colour & Cotton. I used "Rubbed Blue" silk by Victoria Clayton. First time using her silks and I really loved them!

Justine: I don't know whether this would help you, but on Feliz Navidad, I stitched the borders between the alphabets first. Then as I am stitching the letters, I would be able to stitch all of the one color at once by using the borders for the placement, if that makes sense. It seemed to go faster than stopping and starting the colors. Shelly: I think that I'm going to start Gathering of the Greens on Christmas Day, too. I'm just waiting for my fabric to arrive. Also, my nieces and granddaughters were in NYC the first week in December. That must have been a great trip for you all. The pictures that I saw were just fabulous! So festive and bright.

Which count of Lugana are you going to use? I am stitching mine one over one on 25 count Lugana. On Liz's website she has the stitch count listed, and I would be happy to tell you what size you would need, just let me know what size you will be stitching on. You are going to LOVE it!!!!

Yes I do! I stitched that on 36ct Chickpea by Colour & Cotton. I used "Rubbed Blue" silk by Victoria Clayton. First time using her silks and I really loved them!
I lost my daughter in October, so decorating my home this year. No spirit.

Justine: I don't know whether this would help you, but on Feliz Navidad, I stitched the borders between the alphabets first. Then as I am stitching the letters, I would be able to stitch all of the one color at once by using the borders for the placement, if that makes sense. It seemed to go faster than stopping and starting the colors.
Shelly: I think that I'm going to start Gathering of the Greens on Christmas Day, too. I'm just waiting for my fabric to arrive. Also, my nieces and granddaughters were in NYC the first week in December. That must have been a great trip for you all. The pictures that I saw were just fabulous! So festive and bright.

I am stitching Christmas Garden on 28 count Zweigart Cashel Linen - Winter Moon and I am using all the called for colors.
I would contact the framer and ask them how they would like it sent to them.
Everybody is a little different.
