When the Guardians sent a GL (Katma Tui) to recruit a new corps member there, she found that it was impossible to explain the concept of the green light to a creature whose species had no eyes and therefore no idea of light or color. She ultimately got around it by teaching him to think of the ring as a bell and make constructs that work by emitting sound. (This was in an old GL comic from the early eighties, though Rot Lop Fan has been seen in some fairly recent GL comics as well.)

@@Bloodypainless I would not call it hope though, since I'm dealing with depression for the past 15 years, I imagine that if I would get past this, everything would become clear, I would feel relieved, I would feel relaxed, I would feel like I can finally live, but yeah I would also have hope, but it would not be like the main thing, I think.

That is definitely not correct. Abin-Sur is mentioned specifically. That is the one word you can understand, yet it's no where in your version.

When the Guardians sent a GL (Katma Tui) to recruit a new corps member there, she found that it was impossible to explain the concept of the green light to a creature whose species had no eyes and therefore no idea of light or color. She ultimately got around it by teaching him to think of the ring as a bell and make constructs that work by emitting sound. (This was in an old GL comic from the early eighties, though Rot Lop Fan has been seen in some fairly recent GL comics as well.)
