I don't think I've heard this song without the faded ending.
This is basicly the way the song was originally recorded. The band and/or the producer decided to fade out later for the official release.

@@DrumLess yeah I know that, but there are official sped up and slowed down versions of the song that have been released by Tears For Fears themselves. You can find it on TH-cam easily by searching for the song sped up or slowed down. It is trending on TH-cam through shorts currently due to the 80's music Renaissance.

i don´t remember exactly where i found it, it´s been a while...
I agree with you that this version is better. This is the way the song was recorded, but you know... the producer or the record company "decided" that to fade the song in the final release.
@@DrumLess Wherever you got it from, it would have been pulled from the game files of Rock Band 3, as the songs are put in that game as stems, and almost always with the Master recordings that don't yet have the fade-outs applied to them.
