    As a drummer myself i'm thinking most fans have no clue how strenuous
    and complex your drumming really is. their just enjoying the groove but don't
    realize how talented you really are! well done impressive drumming!

    • @JohnnyOlsson
      @JohnnyOlsson 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      As not a drummer myself, I assume you are right. I mean, I've listened to enough drumming to recognize talent when I hear (and see) it, but I'm pretty sure I can't fully appreciate the full difficulty and complexity. To me, just being able to play drums at even a basic level seems hard enough. Everything above that is just different levels of magic. ;)

    • @williambell356
      @williambell356 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      I don't drum and understand very well the complications of the movements... especially in sync with everything! The dude is very gifted!

    • @honuman39
      @honuman39 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The best guys make the "simple" stuff art. It took me years to figure out how to really sell a basic backbeat well even though the mechanics of it aren't that hard. Moore is one of the best.

    • @tortillasarenotbiceps7622
      @tortillasarenotbiceps7622 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From someone who played for nearly 20 years I completely grasp the complexity and ease with which he implements it. This stuff isn't easy, but he makes it look like buttering bread.

    • @demthangs4619

      Be interested in examples of hit pop songs with variating 16 and 32nd note hi-hat patterns. I can't think of any. The original pattern does not variate and may not even be from a hi-hat. More likely it was sequenced.

  • @jackk8093
    @jackk8093 3 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    Such precision without showing off. There are plenty of fills but they never take away from the feel of the song just to show that a lick can be done. You don’t have to play what was on the record just something that compliments the song. You do that so well. When musicians try to play exactly the record or exactly the sheet music it take a feeling out of the song. When someone plays what they feel then the music comes out with a feeling that the audience can feel. This is why good live performances leave the audience wanting more. Great job.

    • @EasyENG4U
      @EasyENG4U ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree the fills are so freaking precise and they simply add up to the song. Extraordinary.

    • @saabtech3510
      @saabtech3510 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Real music is not mechanical. There is a space in the air between the notes/beats that is where the magic resides. Like you let yourself go, but stick the landing......

    I love the quarters on the bass. It's something that I do often. It really fattened up the groove at the right time. Wonderfully nuanced and the fills were tasty. Nicely done!!!! Really spiced up the song without getting too flashy. Pocket drummer for sure.

    Those toms are creamy brother. Awesome tuning, miking and mixing. Tasteful playing as well.

      I haven't used real toms in about 16 years, I have a snare, a bass drum, cymbals and I use an Alesis sample pad Pro as my Toms

      Pasties are so unique. I like loading a couple of Sabians into the mix acting as a pad, the Paisties really pop against that. Zildjans covers the spectrum.

    As a kid I used to watch Dennis Miller Live every weekend, and this was the intro song. My father has played drums for nearly 60 years (late 60s Slingerland double bass kit) and he would always "doll up" songs when I asked him to play them. Thanks for bringing 2 of my favorite childhood memories together. Peace.

    Where are you getting "no drums" tracks for hits like this? How are you not getting penalized by TH-cam for doing covers like this?

      If you search the song and put “no drums” or “drumless” at the end a lot of times it will pull up

    These 33 people I see with the dislikes are so bunch of haters and don't know nothing bout drums or knows how to play drums I mean how can you dislike this Eric Moore is the most best drummers out right now in the world, hes the baddest drummer on the planet and he's One of my favorite drummers , I love his playing and he always keeps the pocket even when he doing all his skillful fills on the drums tbh he's the reason I'm a good drummer right now cuz of his playing, I'm a drummer myself, I love this man, keep it up bro 💯💯💯💯💯
