Modern race cars and speedways have become so extreme and Technical the drivers are more like fighter pilots or astronauts. But these are drivers cars. The extreme speeds of F1, Indy car and NASCAR are thrilling but as a spectator I can relate to these Goodwood cars and the speeds they race at. They are Vehicles which we can understand and actually drive although very few people can do it as well as these incredible drivers did. The fantastic saves seen here aren't even possible in modern race cars no matter what skill level the driver.
