hey harsh! i'd like to give a suggestion. keep your bike's engine idling for minimum of 3 minutes while cold starting it. that too in the very cold weather early morning starts will need some heating up the engine, the engine oil needs to be warmed and run throught the parts completely. also keep ur RPM low for first 3-5 KMs. these can surely bring a good change in ur mileage in each ride. 10W -50 synthetic oil me cold start ki zrurt ni pdti. 2nd. ha tasalli k lie kr skte ho pr 3 min bht h. 30 sec se 1 min is enough .

@@jordan97622 Bro engine oil is different thing, if you use that engine oil in 150 cc or 200 cc then your point is correct but then in 400 cc you should leave your engine for atleast 1 min on very cold mornings, I do this in my pleasure 2009 and my new Jupiter bs6 and so my pleasure's engine is still in good condition whereas I see other people's pleasure who dont do cold start their engine sound and pickup have been affected badly, also in cars it is very important, if you have a petrol car then you can see the rpm going down after 1 min or so after cold start

Right indicator was in for sometime till you noticed I guess, I have been looking for indicator buzzer option but it’s a genuine miss in the bike

Coz I didn’t push it upto the limit…. You can achive more speed in this beast.

Gixxer V storm sx touches 150+ being a 250cc beast, Dominar having 400cc engine does not meet expectation, though, riding above 100km/hr is dangerous. But, 400cc! Vs 250cc!

I dont like speed. I think 100 is enough. That was just a try to push this bike…. And afyer 2nd service it can easily go beyond 170 (wind direction matters)
I dont know much about suzuki vstorm. But being a owner of d400. I just loved it. It give you super stability in highway.
@@NomadicHarsh I also dont like over speeding, i cruise between 70-80km/hr mostly. Actually, i was comparing the power and pick up capability of two different category bikes that come around same price range on road. Dominar is definitely a value for money but recently launched suzuki vstorm sx is tough competition as it has better reliability and engine refinement over dominar, also better Mileage(that concerns most nowadays as petrol price is hiking), though, vstorm misses out slipper clutch. I like dominar for everything it offers under tight budget segment, but, currently, vstorm has attracted me too, i liked it very much.
Yeah vstorm its a great package. Recently launched by suzuki. But dominar is love ❤️
Obviously vstorm gives good mileage as its a 250 cc but dominar also give a good mileage compare in his segment

How do you feel at 100 to 125kmph? Can someone cruise at that speed for a stretch of 150 to 200 km?
It feels good… you can easily cruise at this speed…. But you will feel strain on shoulders. Its better to install handle raisers.

Nowadays warnings have become a joke. He says dont try this and he is pushing his bike to its limit. If u care that much then blur the speedo. These kind of actions from youtube vloggers are the main reasons why youngsters try to imitate and get into trouble.
I am also a youngster…. And i am not influenced from anyone…. Actions and speed are also shown in movies and disclaimer is also there… i tried it and also disclaimed that. I think today’s generation doesn’t get influenced easily. They know what to do. Anyways thanks for your suggestion. 👍

Hello bhai… dominar 400 ki mileage dekho city mei mai 28 nikal raha hu or bina tnsn ke chalata hu… or highway ki baat kre to araam se 30 ya 32 tak de degi ho sakta hai jyda de de… totally depend krega apki riding pe… mere opinion mei dominar 250 or duke 250 ki milegae mei 1 ya 2 points ka difference hoga… bt dike 250 ki seat dominar se kam achi hai… or duke 250 ka mjhe meter nai pasand or bike mei power bohot hai lekin initial kafi acha hai… and duke ki maintenance dominar se jyada costly hai…. have knowledge about bikes
do chain cleaning and lubing every 250-300km
buy fork seal cover for avoiding fork seal leaks
do not ride the bike in heavy rain or filled water areas
Why not to ride the bike in heavy rain?
@@NomadicHarsh chances of water splashing near battery or below seat near relay units, or ignition coil damage it's cleary given in manual to avoid riding in heavy rain fall or heavy water filled areas , in case of water damage it can become to find fault..you can read in manual
@@wheelsoncrisis okay yeah that’s the reason…. Even my bike’s wiring is replaced once due to this
@@NomadicHarsh good luck to you, read the manual carefully, also learn about normal routine things like chain tightening, cleaning, fuel filter , air filter, oil filter change, you own a machine now, you have to pin point the problems to the service center guys , the coolant lasts upto 2 3 years after it expires, also share with other dominar owners, the engine servicing needs to be got done periodically after 3 months oil change in every 6 months or 5000km ..it's a great bike, but indians ridicule bajaj, we think that we will buy bikes and service center guy will take care , it's actually we have to take care ourselves..
@@wheelsoncrisis yeah i do chain cleaning and lubing once or twice a week. Even all the services of the bike were done on time. Everything is maintained. Got the apollo h1 tyres and new chain sprocket. Everything is maintained.
