There were a lot of issues in the initial 2019 model of the Dominar 400 UG BS4 … issues like vibrations,head noise,cone set issues were there … most of these issues were resolved in the BS6 updated … between the BS4 and BS6 D400 there are not a lot of difference “on paper”… but in real life there are a lot of differences like how the BS6 sounds and feels much more refined than the BS4 version … there is no head noise and also some other small niggles were worked upon .
In the end of the day it also depends upon the owner how he/she maintains his/her motorcycle 👍🏻👍🏻
bro just change that instrument display's glass because its gonna cost you. there was a crack just like that and i ignored later on when i washed my bike water got leakage and my display got damaged later on i have change the whole instrument that was the most painful thing. so be safe

Bro i have a doubt. Its more of a question i guess. Any major issues you faced?
My ABS unit failed at around 15000 kms … and I enquired about it … the service advisors at bajaj told me that its a very rare case … and they replaced it under warranty … other than this my motorcycle doesn’t have any issues as of now … 20000 kms done
@@motorportal This is a rare case. My friend had a dominar and his bike had a lot of issues. Its not because of his maintenance, it was the bikes issue. Thats why i wanted to ask you this question. Thank you replying bro❤️

As a 2017 model owner i would say , interceptor makes more sense.

Uska 35 approx ka mileage mujhe attract Kar rha hai yr
Domi me sab kuch excellent hai bas iska mileage and seat comfort utna acha nhi h aisa mene bohot sare genuine owners se pta Kiya h.
Domi ka rider seat bolte h ki 100 km ke aas paas G- dard kr deta h and pillion seat 70 km ke baad pichu sujha dega types.
@@nuclear9977 dekho… jo dikhta hai wo hota nahi… RE mileage claim krte 35 ka lekin deti bht kam hai… and iska service cost bhi slightly zyada hai bajaj k kisi v bikes k mukable… MY friend owns a gt… lot of technical issues… service review bhi acha nahi hai… and seat comfort ki baat ki jaye toh 1000 k andar seat pad ya seat gel kind of chiz milta hai… gaand dard ko wahi sab handle kr lenge😂
Why are you not using motul 7100 costs 1.4K for 2 litres..Even i asked Bajaj SVC they also said to pour it..
I was using bajaj’s offering only to find out if its worth it or not as a lot of people who dont know much about engine oils DM me asking about it … its not a bad engine oil overall … just lacks that extra smoothness that other brands offer (synthetic oil) 😄.
@@motorportal it is also good i didn't find much difference only the engine heat management is far better than bajaj and also shifting is butter smooth thats it..and also bajaj one gives more city mileage...
Like on motul in town i am getting 34kmpl on bajaj it was 36kmpl
@@rch6956 Not in our state...bro..our SVC is very good..they dont use bajaj oil that much..our is filled with professionals and experts..they said after 3rd service you can put motul its better than bajaj oil

6th gear pe 50-60 ki speed pe chalate ho ya kya scene h btao
@@nuclear9977 keep it below 4K rpm thats it..high gear low speeds and proper care proper lubing proper tyre pressure with nitrogen clean air filter..use of liqui molly fuel system cleaner every 8K will result in high mileage

How engine refinement compared to Japanese brands?
refinement isn't as good as honda and Kawasaki but performance is quite goof
