- Hey guys! Today on Robbie's Reviews I am reviewing the 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV!
Huge thanks to my good friend Manny who actually took delivery of the new Escalade earlier in the day from Sheehan Cadillac in Pompano Beach, FL and he has allowed me to take the Escalade out on the road to see what it's like to drive and also to show you guys all of it's amazing luxury features and cutting-edge technology. This is the 5th generation of the Cadillac Escalade and in my opinion the most impressive one yet.

@@MrSupersaiyangoku hey - I cross shopped the SQ7 the GLS 550 bmw x7 and navigator. The Escalade with base adjustable suspension is smoother than all but the MB and even then it’s a tight race. The tie breaker for me was in the infotainment system. The MB is super nice but feels “bolted on” vs the Cadillac one. If you like voice command stuff the GLS is your ride it has a “hey Mercedes” voice command that will do a ton of different things but I’m old and like buttons.
Congrats! I recently (4/23/2021) purchased a 2018 Escalade and can’t wait for the 2021!

This is one hell of a boat!
We can hate all we want but I’m not going to act like this is not the best Luxury SUV ever. The fact is, nothing compares to level of practicality, technology, space, luxury and safety like this New Escalade has. It basically has everything Rolls-Royce, Range Rover Mercedes GLS Maybach have and more. It is the only SUV that can really come close to driving itself.

As a three time GM SUV owner and current '18 ESV. One thing scares me. ALL NEW. I've learned to wait 3 years and let others work out the bugs. Beautiful rig though and great thorough review.

great review! sadly the lyriq interior stunts on the escalade (and i think this escalade interior look/tech is great but that lyriq look/tech is insanely good) but it's smart of cadillac to give this not as good tech/interior for the first 2 - 3 years and then half way through this escalade models life span hit customers with a interior upgrade similar to the lyriq ... if they don't and wait a full 6 - 7 years for the next model escalade to upgrade the interior look/tech that is going to suck because the second the lyriq's start rolling off the line the escalade interior is going to look very outdated

Phenom - I’ll run you through my ESV - paid 104k had a couple of options (rear screens, tricoat, something else) payment will vary based on your credit, length of financing, and down payment.
@@Daytonaman675 that was pretty useless.. lol. But thanks. At the time dealers in my area were 4 month delayed and the ones available had a $25-30k markup! $130k for a escalade.. f*ck that!! I ended up getting a 21' Suburban RST with the rear screens as well. 5 months in and I love it, I got a great deal with it as well. Enjoy yours brother. I'll consider the escalade, denali or maybe the navi when my lease is up.

@@mariahnicole5966 The tires are not bulletproof but there's a mechanism that they insert inside the tires that allowed you to drive away from an ambush even when they have been hit with bullets...

So would you say this is an excellent driving experience for longer rode trips? Does the size/comfort make driving for hours easier or does it make longer trips more tiring at all?

@@MercMan I meant a brand new 2024 model ..pretty sure the exterior won't change that much from this year ..just Saving up to pay cash . So I can talk them down a few thousand dollars

Almost Half of 2021 Cadillac Escalades Have Sold for over $100K
The redesigned 2021 Escalade starts at $77,490 for the base Luxury trim, but GM reports that 43 percent of buyers paid more than $100,000 for theirs.
"[The] all-new Cadillac Escalade retook market leadership in its segment in Q4," GM stated in its 2020 fourth-quarter sales report. It sold 9454 Escalades in that time, including 2020 models. GM also said the Escalade's fourth-quarter retail deliveries were up 19 percent. Car & Driver

It's nice..it's missing two things...A real clock and would be better with a center console instead of that space doesn't look good put something there like the Big Q has or the gator...other than that it's nice

I do not understand why GM has made the ambient lighting so simple with so few choices of colors. Why it does not let you use the automatic color changing while you drive??? Also why the ambient lighting is so feint. You can not even see it at all during the daylight. But you can see it in the Mercedes easily during the day. Why, why why????
