👁 About this video : In today's review we check out the all new 2021 Cadillac Escalade! This is the Platinum Luxury model that has a lot to offer! The exterior has great lines and nice features with all of the chrome and brushed trim! This has a 360 camera system that gives you great visibility around the entire SUV! The new body style is wider and longer to provide better room for back seat passengers! The third row has about 10 inches more of leg room which is a big deal and can easily fit three people comfortably! The second row has a lower floor height to provide even more space! The back seats also have the large screens on the backside of the front seat headrests that can adjust navigation, the radio and some other settings! The biggest change is the new 38'' screen surrounding the drivers area! You have so much control over the infotainment system, the heads up display and even the augmented reality which utilizes the front camera and can display a ton of information like using the navigation and giving you a real time location of where you are and the destination you need to get too! The interior has great materials like leather, wood trim, gloss black and aluminum! It also provides the vehicle with a great ride, it's super comfortable and has plenty of power to get up and moving!

Just bought one and it’s amazing!! Pearl white outside and black inside with white piping on seats !! Wow it’s beautiful!! AMAZING TECK AND BEAUTIFUL! This is my fourth Escalade and I can say it’s the best one!! 👍 to Cadilac!!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed the front did it for me too. The rear is also stunning and streamlined. Just a great vehicle. I like it much more than Bentley and Rolls SUV. I test drove both of them and just didn't see anything that moved me like the caddy! Seriously, the caddy is better.
I will say I am a big fan of the Bentayga! lol. But yeah this new 2021 Escalade is something special! Especially for half the cost of the Bentley!

Nice review. Like everything about it except the front end. Thought maybe seeing it in person would change my mind but it didn’t. IMO the DRLs should had started from the headlights and go down. That would had made it look better. Love my 2017 Escalade and the exterior is what make me pull the trigger. Still haven’t yet decided if I should trade mine in for the 2021 model.

I do not understand why GM has made the ambient lighting so simple with so few choices of colors in the new Cadillac Escalade 2021. Why it does not let you use the automatic color changing while you drive??? Also why the ambient lighting is so feint. You can not even see it at all during the daylight. But you can see it in the Mercedes easily during the day. Why, why why????
Not sure why they have done it that way. Keep in mind Mercedes are much more expensive, but they are also all about the technology! Not all the colors are easy to see during the day, but the ambient lighting is more for night time!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Actually I was referring to the ambient lighting in my Cadillac Escalade Platinum 2021. That is a $ 130,000 SUV. I forgot to mention that. This is a brand new generation of the Escalade. In the previous generation it did not have any real ambient lighting at all.

Yeah you can pack a lot of people in comfort into an Escalade!
Wish it had 8 seats instead of the those captain chairs.
I'm not sure if that's an option to get three in the middle row, but with the captains chairs gives them a lot more space in the Escalade!

That would be a tough one, this has some great features, but the Maybach has a lot more tech, just can't justify the price tag on those!

I think Cadillac needed to make FAR more of a visual separation between the Luxury - Premium - Platinum trims.. They look/appear all the same on the outside as well as the inside to me, but the spread on pricing is approaching 30K between the trim levels. I honestly think the Platinum is not feature-rich enough to command the over 100K MSRP. Platinum trim is missing exclusive wood/carbon fiber trim, high end leather or extended leather etc. like the European brands. Wheels are nice, but certainly leave more to be desired. It feels Cadillac cut way back on feature content in order to put all their efforts into the tech/screens etc. The brown wood with the black leather on the Platinum looks like it's out of an early 2000's Buick le sabre, No Cadillac, NO!. Would love to see a high end modern looking Carbon fiber or open poor wood.
Yeah I can see you're point on some of that. The 2021 Escalade already has sooo many nice features. The top trims don't really have much more then the normal one
@@BrosFOURRSpeed What's so strange about the packaging, is that Cadillac allows you to build up a non-Platinum trim all they up to AND then surpassing the actual Platinum trim, that would include the "Dark Atmosphere" interior that is not available on the platinum trim.. So confusing.. You can also include the 36 AKG and the Super-cruise on a lesser model.. It's almost like Cadillac is "doing you a favor" by creating a platinum level with all options, so you don't have to add them ala carte.. Very odd packaging. With other brands, you must select an upper trim model to unlock options not available on lesser trims/models, like driver assist, better/larger wheel options or exclusive interior bits, sound packages etc. It's makes the buyer' feel like they are buying something nicer than the lower trim models, which authenticates the higher price point.. That doesn't seem to happen here with Cadillac. I bet they are setting up for a late release V-sport model in the platinum trim..
Dang thats crazy! From what they told me, the trim levels split off into two ways. A more luxury version, and a more sporty version. So I guess you can opt for the sporty trims, but then add enough options to make it as luxurious as the luxe trims. A 2021 Escalade V would be epic!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Unless the Cadillac 'build' site isn't an accurate depiction of what CAN be ordered at the dealership level.. I've built basically the same vehicle in different trims, same options, colors and wheels etc. It almost feels like the platinum is there just to say you have THE platinum escalade.. The only model that limits your options is the bottom Luxury trim. Luxury is not available with Supercruise or AKG sound etc. I spoke with a friend of mine, he's a GM at a Cadillac dealership in Ca, he's equally perplexed by the packaging also. If you guys ever get a chance to speak with a Cad executive, i'd be interested to know their reasoning. (??) Great job on the channel (btw).. Keep up the good work!!
