my brother and Daniel had just finished work and waiting for myself to arrive when I got a phone call from Daniel telling me the to pcso's have just stopped him outside Bradford city hall.
they had stopped him simply because he was painting his phone in their direction it seems the PCSO progress to attempt to remove Daniel's phone from his hand and also made an attempt to take my brother declan's phone out of his hand and fail twice however on the second attempt at taking Daniel's phone he was successful but to his shock Daniel actually wrestled and took his phone back from the PCSO.
police constable then arrived and asked Daniel to provide his name under section 50 of the police reform act claiming he had called the police officer filth and therefore was acting in an anti-social behaviour manner.
after the threat of arrest was issued to Daniel I advised him that he should provide his details under duress and the threat of a rest simply to avoid being locked up for the night because we didn't have plans.

Section 50 of the police reform act only requires you to give your name and address but NOT date of birth and calling someone "filth" is not antisocial, in fact it's protected under article 19 of the universal declaration of human rights which the police constables swore an oath to uphold.

If you are being stopped, you are being detained. The difference between a detainment and arrest is that when detained you must feel free to end the conversation and walk away. You must stop, but while detained you are not required to answer questions and you must have the right to leave if you ask.

Not illegal to swear at police. Court said so years ago. Its considered part of the job. Assault. Interference with goods. Threat of false imprisonment. There is also the case that photography in public is completely lawful. A case was recently thrown out by the judge saying public photography is a public right.
Photography is not anti social behaviour. Police cannot interpret the law the way they like. More and more over sensitive police who think they know better.

That was almost as bad as an experience I had. A driver, slammed his car into reverse, ramming my car. Causing damage. Then drove off. I managed to grab a picture of his plate. It was right outside Frome Police Head office, Somerset. Cameras and cops everywhere. Especially as MacDonalds is the building directly next door. They must have already emptied their trough. Not one in sight. I phoned 101 and requested Frome station. I explaining where I was, and what happened. Requesting for someone to come out, from the police building, I was sat looking directly at, as there were witnesses. I was told to take their names, and told I had to email the incident. I couldn’t be bother wasting my time! I knew from their response, I already had wasted my time, on the phone to them! I can only assume there are no police, in Frome police head office. 🙄
Your probably right they were all confronting Auditors, Drone pilots and Dog walkers.
Should have stood outside the door of the station with a camera. You'd have had 6 cops there within minutes.

Non more than we our self's have to make a citizen's arrest.
A PCSO has the powers to detain for up to 30 minutes, for then PC’s to come and make the arrest, take them to a station etc.....
They can also seize vehicles, carry out road checks and control traffic, and can also enforce a cordon and stop and search 👍🏼

Oh dear, this is what happens when the proper Plodstapos can't be bothered, they wheel out the Iplod robots. Problem is, is that the Plodstapos don't always read the instruction manuals properly and enter the wrong settings and programs. As a result the Iplods end up going into overdrive and if this continues long enough they start to overheat, then the faces turn red, the volume automatically gets turned up (another common fault with these devices), black smoke starts to appear from the bolt on ears and noses and then they fail and give up if the Plodstapos don't turn up in time to switch it off.

Failure to prove details to a PCSO when requested is classified as obstructing an officer on duty under the police reform act which is a criminal offence, for a PCSO to threaten arrest though without either suspecting criminal activity has been, is being or will be committed and without prior authorization from a PC means that they are acting outside of their duty and makes the threat unlawful. The only other option would be citizens arrest which the officer would have to prove is substantiated by evidence or just like everyone else they would be commiting assault and false imprisonment. Saying something horrible to anyone isn't a crime, for antisocial behavior to be used as a defense the offending person must have been warned and continued with the action at the expense of other people. This officer acting up because he didn't like what was said is pathetic, if hurting someones feelings/derogatory remarks was a crime then most youtube comments sections would be full of criminals commiting breaches of the peace.
i'll never understand why people trust the police.
They will delay supplying the videos until 30 days has expired . Then they will tell you the information has been deleted due to expiration of time.
When you make a request for the video information, you need to advise them that they must preserve and protect the information and not erase or delete any of it. This should be given in writing.
