Thanks, Rudy! Yes, the serial number is hard to see sometimes. That's because the stitching might be too tight. I suggest using a pair of tweezers to get a better pull. Just be careful because you don't want to damage the shoe.
Sometimes the black serial number is further under the stitch and can only be seen by lifting the bottom little flap portion. Got a pair from goat that nearly gave me a heart attack

It depends....Sometimes every pair won't have the same level of quality, so there might be defects here and there. You would have to compare your pairs to several pairs (preferably) at a store to see if your pair is drastically different from all of the others
Quick question, is there any difference on the ink part of the shoe? (The part where there's black spots) Because mine look a tap bit lighter in darkness than the shoes here, is that part ok or nah?
Hey! Sorry for the deLAyed response. Not sure how I missed this. The dark spots you're talking about won't necessarily look the same across pairs. Some areas will be lighter than others.

I have 2 pairs and in one of them the Nike Air branding on the shoe tongue is slightly lower and on the other one is right towards the upper edge like yours, is that a point to check the legitimacy of the pair?
I bought a pair from StockX and to me they seem fine. It has all that you said in the video but a friend said they could be fake and I noticed a little glue smudge on the very back of the swoosh only on one shoe, something that could be easily wiped off. But everything else checks out. What else can I do to figure it out
Thanks for commenting, Jose! Every pair isn't going to come out perfect, so there's always a possibility of finding an imperfection here or there. 1. You can always get a 2nd opinion from a friend that owns a retail pair. 2. If step one isn't an option, you can visit a sneaker boutique nearby and do a comparison. Sometimes the staff is knowledgeable of what to look for as well.
@@kheruss I've ordered from StockX before, and they sent me an email letting me know that my order would not be arriving because it didn't pass inspection. So, that let's me know that they are actually checking for the legitimacy of the shoes. But, fakes can still get through.

It's better to compare a more recent Jordan 1 like the true blue or lucky green. As for the smell, my pair smells like glue a little, but it's not too strong. Our sense of smell could be different too. If you'd like to send pictures of the shoes on instagram, I'd be more than happy to take a look at them.

Hey man i got these from GOAT but they sent it from Hong Kong and it took 2 weeks to ship. Everything checks out as you said except the most obvious part which is the tounge. Both shoes came wrinkled a little bit. Did i get fakes?
And the shoes didn't come in separate paper but the GOAT employee or machine that was checking it probably didn't place it back because I still found 2 separate pieces of paper.
It's possible that the person checking them didn't wrap the shoes how they originally came. As for the tongue, are you saying that the tongue on your pair looks different from what you saw on my video?

The wrinkles can be an indicator, but it could be how the shoes were handled as well. If you'd like to send me a picture of the shoes on IG, I can give a better opinion.

Just check the tongue.. if it's smooth and stiff, without creases then it's legit. That's the only way to legit check a pair because the rep factory had that made wrong.. Don't mind the smell

You should always be a little concerned about purchasing a sneaker outside of a retail store. But, Flight Club seems to have a decent track record when it comes to sneakers.

Yes, then your sneakers should've been wrapped how you saw it in the video. It's possible that the person who had them before you just unwrapped them and pLAced them in the box that way.
Your pair could still be legit. Whoever authenticated your pair probably didn't pLAce the shoes how they originally were. Do you have two pieces of paper in the box?

No problem at all. Yes, I believe you're looking at the right thing. I don't have as much knowledge with the gs sizes. But, if you live near a sneaker boutique, then you can see if XH is a consistent factory across all gs sizes for that shoe.
Not sure of their authentication process, so I can't say too much about them at the moment. The LAst time I purchased something from them was 14 or 15 years ago, and my order was authentic.

How come u didn't mention the tongue color? Legit pair should be a bit pink on the tongue and fake pair is a bit yellowish on the tongue.

Not so much. I have other Jordan 1 colorways with the same issue. I would say that's more of a defect than anything else.

If it's not Nike, Foot Locker, Champs, Finish Line, and other retail sites, then you'll always run the risk of getting a counterfeit.
I have everything but my insoles are woven, I have the shoe in GS size so I don’t know if it’s different bc of that, is this a bad sign tho?
Thanks for your question. It's possible that the difference is the size. What factory produced your pair? You can find it on the top right of the sizing tag in the shoe.

Yes, I believe you're looking at the right thing. I don't have as much knowledge with the gs sizes. But, if you live near a sneaker boutique, then you can see if XH is a consistent factory across all gs sizes for that shoe.

Not sure of their authentication process, so I can't say too much about them at the moment. The LAst time I purchased something from them was 14 or 15 years ago, and my order was authentic.

I doubt it will be soon, but Nike has restocked on popuLAr releases before. So, it's definitely a possibility.

What size shoe do you wear? Maybe the Men's sizes only have University Red/Blk.
