Omg thanks man (my mouse problem fast click problem) minecraft was destroyed my mouse .Really my mouse now fixed . thanks man. i am serious.really thanks
What's truly sad here is : Why are we not taught basic maintence in school? Why are we taught to be afraid of taking a screwdriver to various appliances. Why are we taught to be afraid of electricity rather than Understanding it's Behaviore & Dangers? (FYI, u ain't gunna get electrocuted by touching the battery in ur car)
Who knew a video in 2016 would help out so much. It was a little tricky with a wireless mouse since it's stuck in the base of the mouse itself, but I'm not going to complain. This really works and needs to have more views and the like. :)
It worked like a charm & furthermore the click is less noisy. Removing that oxidation/build was key to getting a non-double click left mouse button to work for my long used Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 optical mouse. I lost the little white piece twice!...So I swapped the plastic piece & its tiny white part from another button position I wasn't using. Then snapped the black plastic one for the non-used button. From another video, I learned how to open the mouse up.
I own a Zowie fk2 and its left click sometimes was double clicking and other times not working at all, when i was pressing it that was. With this workaround i managed to make it work properly. My concern is how long will that last, as you said that with this needle, you are turning the uneven area of the spring and base as even as possible. However, after some amount of use the same thing will happen and you will need to step in once more. I also did notice that the spring was slightly tilted and moved around(not sure if that was because i took the cap off and moved it) but straightening it up could also help in a way of making the contact area allign alltogether. Thanks for helping and showing that we should focus on the one thing that is the exact cause of this problem, the spring and contact area^^ Edit: It lasted for about a year+ since i posted the above comment. The issue has reappeared on my end, but it is only double clicking this time. However i'm happy that i managed to get it working properly for this amount of time! Going to have to try to apply this workaround once again.
Really I didn't believed that it could work ,as i have free time i just tried and boom it worked, thanks a lot to you, i never thought this kind of video exist, best wishes for you guys
Thank you sir...you saved my money on buying a new usb mouse....yes it definitely worked and its working like before . The response is not as new but yeah it worked. Thank you sir ..😀
Thanks for this video. I used a high power magnifier and noticed that there was dust on the metal, so used some paper to take it off. Additionally, I used steel wool to "rub softly." Be aware that once the switch's plastic cover is removed, the metal part comes off very easily. It is really hard to get it back on correctly. I had to take the right switch apart to see what i was doing wrong. When replacing it, the metal part must go on the top most notch at the front and back for the switch to spring. Take a picture or look closely at 4:09 of the video. Additionally, when trying to do this, the whole circuit board came loose, which made the power switch come off. It ended being a 30 minute job. Now it is working fine.
Thanks so much! This worked for me as well! After trying all the software/Microsoft fixes that didn't work, this totally fixed the problem. Thank you! Rub a dub dub, and your mouse freaking stops right clicking when I am left clicking! Whoo hoo!
Man, thank you a lot. Thats really working) Ive spent an hour to do this, but result is perfect. Now it is interessting for me to do this one more time for other people!)
One more question. I`ve done it a little bit different. During the rubbing stage in your video, i have totally removed this thing (i mean tiny yellow spring). I constantly squeezed it and made a lot of manipulations, using alcohol and Q-tips to make it absolute clear. My purpose was to make it more elastic. Is it normal or i shouldn't do that way nex time? And second: For what time usually does this problem disappear? Tell me your experience please.
HEY MAN!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!! when I putted every parts together I thought it wouldnt work and I would just buy a new mouse. BUT IT WAS VERY SMOOTH THANKS ALLOT!
I can't believe this actually worked. I was so sad my mouse was on its way to the graveyard even though it is only 4 years old but following this video scene-by-scene really brought my mouse back from the dead. Thank you so much! 😊
Heroe sin capa! Gracias por el dato! Ahorita mismo abro mi mouse para arreglar mis botones! Not all heroes wear capes!!! Thank you man for this tip! Will open my mouse right now to fix my issues!! :D
Thank you very much. I've always wanted to fix my old wireless mouse which is all good apart from some sensitivity error with the left click. This totally fixes it. :)
HAHA! I see. I used the method of just blowing through the hole and it would just clean up the switch a little so it would work for a while. I had no idea you could just remove the cover like that. Many thanks!
u just open it the same way and insert it again? Should be self-explanatory if you watched this video, he literally resets the green button showing you what to do.
The buttons of my mouse are not like yours from inside (I am referring to the black colored boxes with red and green buttons at 0:45, where you keep your screwdrivers tip). They are not cuboidal .They are cubical with four dot like things on corners on top with a black circular button in the center. It cannot be opened with your method. Please help.
There have lock, you have to unlock. Or if u have soldering iron then remove the button from circuit board then fix then reset aging using soldering iron.
The metal lever inside which is contact point for the click should not be cleaned with any hard objects (needle, wire brush, metal sheet, etc.) because scraping away the metal point make the click become worse due to the distance of the click required to touch the contact point. Just use an old clean toothbrush to brush off any dust from the contact points. Also try re-align the metal plate so that the metal point is hooked in the middle position which is the original position. Both these actions cured my mouse problems which accidental release when dragging.
thank you so much! i had to test it out on a cheap logitech before i did it on my roccat kone xtd. but i worked great for me!! you saved me a lot of money there.
