You are the best petite fashion blogger I’ve seen. ALL of your advice is priceless.. spot on. You’ve addressed every problem most petite women have. Dress length, boots, booties, tall boots. You cover it all. You are amazing. Keep your videos coming, can’t get enough.
OMG! I love your videos!!! I can't tell you how many times I've stared in the mirror so annoyed with my overall look even though I worked hard to look nice. You are able to put into words what I couldn't quite put my finger on for years!
I'm also 5ft 2 and your points all make perfect sense. I often think we petites have plenty of advantages over taller ladies, and as an older one, I have learnt to adapt trends to a more elegant and classic look. Shoes and boots that are "right" for each outfit, are key to the best look.
I dress up to go to the pharmacy LOL, because I have no where else to go. Thanks for another fantastic video!! A side by side comparison, after you’ve illustrated the correct outfit would be helpful too! Thank you for the amazing tips!
I am so here for this! I've been torturing my brain for months trying to figure out how to were a dress/skirt in the winter while looking appropriate and staying warm. THANK YOU!
Love your video’s! I’m a perfect 5.0 ft ! I’m also in my 50’s. I figured much of this out through years of trial and error. However, as I get older it has been harder not to just give in to wearing sweats all the time. Your videos are a welcome addition to my list so that I can actually see that I really should take more pride in my look at any age. Thanks
I am a dress girl, too. I adore them. I hardly wear pants, but now that I see your great advice on how to wear pants for my height and shape, I will be more adventurous with pants. thank you so much. Could you please do a video on Petites wearing scarves?
Ok, finally I found the channel I’ve been looking for. Thank you so much! And can you please give some ideas about casual or weekend outfits? Thank you again!!
I do the same thing lol. I once dressed up in a full vintage outfit just to bake an apple pie, complete with frilly apron. Gotta do what makes you happy 😊
The best dress in winter video I found that doesn’t look frumpy. All I wear is dresses and skirts but I don’t wear a coat. I’m never outside long so I never found the reason to. But I decided this year I need to wear a coat.
I find all of the tips you recommended working perfectly for me when I’m under 150lbs - then last year hormones and thyroid issues have slammed me with a 60lb weight gain- I’m fighting to break below 190 watching everything going in my mouth and though I’m very sedative.. doing all I can to move more
It happened to me too. I conquered it by three simple rules: 1. eat off a smaller plate, 2. three meals and no snacking, 3. avoid white foods (sugar, flour, pasta, rice). And don't forget that we all lose our hormones and thyroid, so we need to supplement them if we want to live long and healthily.
I truly appreciate your research, knowledge and trail error honesty. You have cut right to proportions which are how tge eye perceives length. I wish I found you sooner!
You have a great sense of humor Chi ! Glad you are here in this creative space ❤️ I have learned so much from you , I appreciate the proportion education 😊 Where did you find your darling peplum jacket ? I think you said the Peacost was H&M .
Wow great eye and so damn funny. Glad to find ya! Ps I absolutely loveeee the white monochrome pleated skirt with leather cropped Moro and tall boots. Looks so amazing on you!!
I'm going to wear my winter white skirt with black tights and my black booties,4'11". Short black moto jacket or winter white cropped jacket, fitted. I always wore fitted coats lived in new England scarf
I just found you and I love you! Thank you for doing these videos, they have helped me so much! I hate shopping for cloths. It always seems so difficult. I wish I had someone to come help me pick out a whole new wardrobe. But these videos have opened my eyes to so many possibilities 😍
Hi Chi great dresses to wear for fall. I love a good pleated skirt and it looks great to wear in the fall. I love the silk dresses to with a lovely silk blouse looks elegant to wear with pointy toe high heels. Have a wonderful week Chi. Love XO 💖🤗
I love wearing dresses also. Yes length of coat needs to be longer than the dress! Ahh I add the boots too and just by trial and error that ankle boots work for me. Yes I love the crop jacket. I have learned the rule of thirds from you! And all about the horizontal line- thank you! And the longer boots I love the pointy toe boots do make a difference!
I live in the tropics in Australia so I don't own a coat as it is not most of the year but I find this very helpful regardless. I love your videos they are very informative thank you. 🤗🤗💞💞
I love your channel. Your content is so useful and you give great suggestions as to how to make your current items work vs buying everything new! Great for the planet and my wallet! Thank you!
Found your channel today and i am already in love with your perosnality. Your sense of humor and the information shared is so useful. I am also a petite person who is a dress and skirt person too. Love and supprt to you. 💓💓💓💓💓
Perfect! Recently purchased a few of the style of your white skirt and was looking especially what top to wear with those. I find them so pretty and feminine as they move with your movement. I have booties, boots but looking for nice top for them. Hoping u don’t look like a frumpy grandma at 5’3 wearing those at same time. Lol! But I do love them. Got three at Uniqlo in black, grey and purple and then at Target found on clearance in green which I live and brown. I’m full of skirts now until death do apart from my skirts. 🤦🏻♀️
I love your advice and videos - they are very entertaining, and I apply what you say to the way I dress. Although, I could not go with out tights in the winter the way you seem to do so often. Also, I am a youth worker-and need to wear really practical
I'm a happy slightly tall-ish height but I still pay a lot of attention to proportions and I completely agree with you on the fabric peeking out point... it just isn't a good look. I wear skirts and dresses all year round and I live in an extremely cold climate.
Just found this video. I've watched several of your videos; this one was one of the best. I can so relate to wearing dresses to the grocery store for lack of anywhere else to go! LOL! (Stupid Covid!) Great video though. Lots of helpful tips too.

Right??? She’s just so honest, relatable, and practical.

Tim Gund’s “rules” for looking good-pay attention to silhouette, proportion, and fit. You nailed this video.
Finally someone who gets being petite (5'3👍) is about proportion 😘
I loved the intro. I did the same during all the Lockdowns. Wore dresses and fancy clothes because it made me happy.
These are really good tips. I’m 5-6, but have often had this coat-and-dress proportion problem. I just discovered this channel and am so glad I did!
Glad you find it helpful!
OMG! I love your videos!!! I can't tell you how many times I've stared in the mirror so annoyed with my overall look even though I worked hard to look nice. You are able to put into words what I couldn't quite put my finger on for years!
Melody- glad you find it helpful!

I wish I had seen this video 10 years ago. Excellent!

I love the advice on the tights. It makes all the difference!
I totally get you. I work from home so running errands is usually where I can take fun clothes out for a spin.

'Eliminate the horizontal line' BRILLIANT! How did I not know this already. Thanks Chi x
Love this video, I'm 5'2 and have a tough time finding dresses that are the right length.
I’m 5’2” & have no trouble finding dresses that are the correct length. I only shop online, though. Local stores don’t have stylish petite clothing.
I’ve been watching your videos in the past few days and you have confirmed so many things for me. Thanks
Thr trenchcoat short dress black tights and ankle boots combo is my all times fav. So classy.
I do the same thing lol. I once dressed up in a full vintage outfit just to bake an apple pie, complete with frilly apron. Gotta do what makes you happy 😊

Thank you!
This has helped me so much. I want to buy more skirts for winter but stopped.
Will this work with flat shoes?
Yes it works on flats too. Pointy toe flats are most leg elongating!

You are genius❤️❤️I have never thought of that. Thank you❤️❤️🇩🇰
So glad to hear you like it, Irena!
Thank you. I always thought a longer coat was bad because it would give the appearance of nakedness under the coat.
Lol I never thought of that before, but now I won't forget it!!😂
Such good stuff to know. And explained sovwell. Thanks
