If you were to listen to the people who are opposed, you'll usually find that their argument is that the laws are r***st. Why do they think that? From what I've seen/heard, their reason for assuming that, is because they're the ones who are what they accuse the laws of being... r***st. To see why I reached that conclusion, there's a video that I saw about 6 or 7 years ago by a creator here on TH-cam named Ami Horowitz. The video title is "How white liberals really view black voters". It's eye-opening, to say the least! 😉

Ultimately the constitution needs to reign supreme and be everyone’s compass regardless of political beliefs or ideology. If it doesn’t align with the constitution it should not become law unless voted on by We The People. Both parties infringe on constitutional rights which is wrong and why the U.S constitution is so important, it keeps both parties in check.

@@calvinmckinney9303 Thomas has never been an advocate or political activist, blaming him for his wife’s actions is laughable and just a huge reach. He acted well with in the laws set forth by congress. But of course because you disagree with his rulings he is a bad guy and must be politically motivated. He does lean conservative but that doesn’t change the fact he has been pretty solid at up holding his oath to protect and preserve the constitution. And trust me he doesn’t always rule in favor of conservatives, there are many ruinings that conservatives didn’t get in their favor. When you compare Thomas to a Kentanji Jackson( not sure on the spelling) the difference is light years. These nominees literally built their careers off of being political activists which is the exact opposite of unbiased. Even in senate hearing they could not answer any direct questions or denounce their previous political beliefs showing they indeed could not remain unbiased implementing the law equally.

@ZergleJerk most of the fraud in recent years has been the rich or people well enough to have 2 houses. The fraud isn't from the poor. The ones with 2 houses also have id's

Technically, the Constitution says there are not allowed to be financial barriers to be able to vote. Because an ID costs money to obtain and if it is required to vote that is a financial barrier to voting for those that are impoverished. Many homeless people can not afford an ID. Should that bar them from voting?

My state issued photo ID was something like $30 and is good for 5 years.

If the answer is there are circumstances where voter id laws are appropriate and in appropriate the natural follow up question is in what circumstances are voter ID laws appropriate and what circumstances are they inappropriate? Followed by under what circumstances are voter ID laws the promotion of white supremacy?

I chopped my government tracking device (ID) up years ago. I still vote, drive, & bank without issues. I don’t need any government to validate my personhood; I know who I am. Who I want to vote for is not their business.

My photo ID is plastic..government doesn't track me with it. I'm guessing you don't fly anymore? You can't drive without a license in the usa

@@femaleKCRoyalsFan you can absolutely drive without a license. Leave it at home and somehow the car still starts. And if you don’t think police use ID to keep track of where you are and what you do; you are foolish or naive. That said I wish you well and hope you never have to find out.

And if we got to have an ID to buy tobacco and alcohol and firearms I think we need IDs to vote. I mean if they want to get rid of voter ID they best get rid of it for buying alcohol and tobacco and guns. Like come on now we kind of have ID to buy alcohol but y'all don't want us to have IDs to vote that's fishy

People can get fired from Mcdonalds now of days for things said on the internet. I definitely think these people should not be allowed to serve in any type of U.S government job due to their previous comments. Apart from maybe being mail carriers.
