Boat building tip: to avoid deformation, build up a hull piece by piece symetrically - not one half first, then the other half. It prevents potential warping to one side, and will also make things more even if you want to do seam corrections simply because they are fresh in your memory as you go.

Wow, this is really a wonderful video content Sir , since I was a kid I was obsessed with boats until now I'm still into dreaming of building one but I can't afford to do it since I don't have much , and then there comes your step by step video of how to create it , and then it gives me an inspiration to maybe try to build it bit by bit , and follow your drawings, instructions, dimensions and as well as your dedication to get it done . I just hope I can have your full or complete boat plan on my working table for in one way or another it could me help build my dreams. God bless you Sir, stay safe and healthy to keep you doing what you do, and inspiring us . It is an honor for me if one of these days you can share me your ideas on my first project. Thanks.

Great video and great designing, way better than I could ever attempt. I am currently building a stitch and glue sailing dinghy and I have a few suggestions: I am not sold on the PU glue that you used. Epoxy resin with wood flour or an additive like cel-o-fil that is designed for structural bonding and filleting would be a better choice. Also, try your hand at designing a stitch and glue hull. Instead of a frame with planks attached, bulkheads are used to add rigidity and water tight compartments for floatation. I think you could do it and would simplify the build process for any future designs.

    • @homemade_madness

Thanks man, been watching your channel for years😅 I think it could be done, best thing is to just scale the big papers, and scale them down by 15/18 (0.833) Then you can use 15 mm thick plywood for the framing (instead of 18) and all the notches will still fit perfectly😁 also a 3d printed jet drive is possible, check out DK the welder, he has some cool small jetdrive builds. 1 you should apply the resin before laying down a fibreglass layer. helps stick and prevents bubbles and warping.
2 You wore a respirator when applying the fibreglass but not even a mask when sanding it. That's how you die. Sanding Fibreglass is the most dangerous part
