Great tips. Funny thing is I'm 4b/4c and initially started out with 237 twists. I didn't like the way they looked after 6 months, so I took the twisted parts down and had them interlocked as well. Looking back now (after watching a trillion other 4b/4c locked youtubers) I realize I should have just let them be and trusted the process. TFS.

The bed music is actually a great feature to this amazing video but the octaves were not adjusted properly and low enough. Right concept improperly executed.

wth? People listen to 3 things at once in tiktok videos all day. The music might be a little dated but it's still calm. Her video was short and concise too, the complete opposite of most diy TH-cam videos. People are just stupid.

Beautiful commentary on SL / ML😊
But please be careful out here when it comes to your SL , everyone is not out here for your good on your hair periodT.
I let a girl In Hayward CA, name Kristin do my Sisterlock install- 🤦🏽‍♀️ she was awful to say the least and very unprofessional.
I went to her for a couple of more months, but my gut told me to stop going to her.
She did not know what she was doing. She did not do the Sisterlocs grid- she messed up my hair- and had the nerve to get upset because I stopped tipping her. In the meantime I was looking for a new sister Loctician ….and I actually reported her to Sisterlock foundation . I have a new lady now , in San Leandro California. She is amazing ! Some of these folks out here do not want to take care of your hair. They only want the money. And her attitude was definitely from the devil..
If you feel it in your gut, please do your research. Do not go to the first person you see! This is my second set of Sisterlocks. Soon I will be doing a channel myself regarding my Sisterlock journey. 😉 be safe out here folks when it comes to your hair!

Never realized you could start with twists. I don’t know my density by I know my texture. It’s extreme coily and coarse and loca easily. The crown is also thin so that tip about thinner locs in that area is helpful.

I have multiple combinations of textures so I started with twist. My ends curl up and twist stay in. It's easier to unlock with twist than it is with actual locks< (the knotting and locking method). Plus my hair does look so dry. I'll just stick with the twist 😊
