Single mom here with 2girls under the age of 3 don't get any assistance from their dad. Been working 2 jobs for about 3years now and feel like I will be having to do this until I'm 60...working 65hours a week. Don't get enough time to even sleep, let alone spend time with my babies. But it's for the greater good. I don't allow myself to feel sorry for myself and just focus on the results. It's tough, but atleast now I have food in my house after leaving a man that didn't care about working. He wants me back but I feel like he didn't loose me, he lost a paycheck.

I just came across your video .. I feel better I have a 9-5 during the week then Amazon 12 hrs on the weekends with two kids … trying to save for a down payment on a home and pay off credit card debt. I’m feeling like i want to quit and give up but it’s good to know i’m not alone 😊
It’s worth it in the end and just know you won’t have to do it Forever 💕
Omg girl me too lol I work a 9-5 Monday to Friday and Amazon 12 hours Thursday to Saturday. I feel guilty sometimes. Single parent to a beautiful 11 year old

How do you ladies figure out a sitter? The work isn't the problem for me, it's the lack of help with my daughter.
It’s tough cause you can’t really depend on anyone. If you can find a good support system great but daycare or work from home jobs will make it a little easier.
I really felt this!!! Thank you for making this video! I currently have 2 jobs and I run my cake business. I’m also a single mom of 2 boys. So many people call me a super woman and say they don’t know how I do it...meanwhile I’m thinking to myself saying “I’m not”
I feel like a failure as a mom on multiple occasions but like you said, I try to remind myself that I’m overworking myself for a purpose and trying to create a better life for my boys.
I’m currently working on buying my first home (waiting for a new build to finish) and I really want to solidify an exit strategy for my main job because it is crazy stressful and I’m miserable there.
I have watched your whole series on your home journey and that is what attracted me to your channel. It’s refreshing to see content that is from a single mom and someone who is realistic and not just posting the luxury Homes purchased with their husbands and with dual or high income. Again, I thank you for this content and know that it really helped me mentally to stay strong in my journey to homeownership and creating a better life in general! Please continue to make more content in this area if you have the time! Also I would love to see more of your home updates!

@@whitneemarie4625 that’s good that u know a value of having a partner or husband. Some female don’t understand the important of that. They don’t know once the cross 40 year olds… they can not be working 3 jobs it put a stress on the body. Let’s say u lose ur job… who gonna provide for the 2 boys, but if u have someone.. u can depend on his income until u get a job. Also, when ur kids grow up and leave the house… now ur all alone with nobody to share life with. I see it all the time… I am psychiatrist… woman over 40 years old, living alone with no partner or husband tends to have depression.

My momma did it raising my sister and I and she made sure we had everything we ever wanted or needed without help from our fathers so I applaud women like you it gave me the hustler mentality without a child

Girl I’m here for it. I somehow got myself caught up in working 10pm-7am then 10am-4pm. Like how tf and I have a kid so like tf
But I do get Friday-Saturday’s off.
It’s tough but possible. I commend you because it’s not easy. At least you get to enjoy your weekends.

Why doesn't the father of help, I get so tired of that. I do everything by myself. And boy am I tired.
Ive been working multiple jobs since I was in college. Now that I'm a mom I feel it's the same, but I don't want to miss out on my child's life. I'm definitely only having one child 💯💯💯 I can't imagine doing this for multiple kids.
What was your hours for these two jobs ?
Amen! I felt like this with school. I have an AA degree in criminals justice almost another AA with sociology . I was pursuing My BA and I couldn’t do it affected my mental health and my daughter as well .
Yes school can also feel like a full time job as well!!!

Yes it is tough I did it for 2 years and I had no energy or time for anything else.

I’m preparing myself now for this second job. I’m trying to pay of debt and save for a down payment on a house. Ik this will be hard but I know my son will appreciate it in the long run. I luckily have a good support system (family).

The frames were originally the black poster frames from Walmart and I Spray painted them bubble gum pink.

This is a very immature response. Shit is very expensive now with or without kids and if your are an adult and have goals more than one income is needed plus she didn’t get pregnant alone …. you never know how people can switch up and life happens it’s strong individuals like me and this woman that keep things moving and end up on TOP
@@BWJR We got by just fine with one income. Noting that was with a husband and wife; three kids, two large dogs. How did we do it ? -We got by with just one car. Vacations were typically pretty modest and usually in-state. Did not get cell phones until we really needed them. Only rarely ate out. So, yeah. Five of us dependant upon just one income. No problem at all.
@Ashley Walker Yes Ma'am ! I am an endless bundle of energy. I am age 59, and retired from the FDIC as of 3 years ago. You can retire at age 56 if you have 30+ years in, which I did. I now work 50+ hours per week in the Treasury Dept of a Top 25+ bank. This Sunday AM ? Up at 6AM to read the paper, walk the dog, and go on a 30-minute bike ride. I did the dishes and cleaned the pool. Likely headed to the Mall here when they open, and I'll drop by Eos on my way home for some resistance training. The adult kids ? Most likely still all hungover from last night, but I don't know since they are all out of college and on their own now. My wife keeps up a similar schedule, but she likes to sleep in on the weekends so she slept in unitl 8AM. So, yes, I'd say I have the same type of energy for whoever.
