+Cameron W That's because Werner Herzog directed it. He's being doing those sorts of shots in his films for almost 40 years now! Haha. Check out some of his films (Aguirre: The Wrath of God. Stroszek. Fitzcarraldo. Rescue Dawn. Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Grizzly Man. etc.)
Well, Werner's voice harkens back to a Waffen-SS lieutenant for one--that's creepy on an AP-UPI-Global scale. Also, the band is NOT ALL HERE! Why is that? Whatever the reason the video is decidedly dour and I almost regret watching it. So, no, you are not alone my friend. PS These guys are one of my favorite bands: Their music, their fashion, their onslaught, specifically that of Mr. Brightside back in 2004 (that left most in both the working class and the intelligentsia stunned, quite frankly); their initial formation and untouchable, meteoric rise to fame--they may hold the record for shortest duration from first official recording to super-stardom--I believe it was less than 20 months? Either way, you gotta love it. They are the chosen ones...
@@GotLotsaFaith your comment is not only idiotic, it's also racist and that's not an opinion, strong German accent= Waffen SS really? Grow up, we're in 21th Century.
idk i dont like this. Everyone (especially the King of Anxiety aka Brandon) seems so uncomfortable... and Dave isn’t there? There’s just a weird vibe and I know that’s because it’s artsy but... :/
I was born in Vegas and lived here my entire life (18 years), but I honestly feel that the strip isn't part of the real Vegas. I feel its more of a suburban city with lots of cultural diversity. Not so much about the casinos...
What did The Killers do to deserve the great Werner Herzog? What’s next, Martin Scorsese presents Justin Bieber? A Francis Ford Coppola production of Nickelback, perhaps?
I love how he managed to make them look like assholes. It is not too difficult to do that, dont´get me wrong, but I love the idea of taking their money for this useless video and still making an artwork.
Totally agree. I like listening to the Killers, but they are pop and don’t have a lot of substance. Hence a 7 minute documentary that still feels too long
wtf did I just watch... strangest/shortest rockumentary ever
Brandon's face at the end is killing me lol what did I just watch 😂
Poor Brandon. The look on his face at the end makes me giggle!!
He wants to take the song seriously but laugh at the same time.
That was incredibly odd.
Wow, Mark and Dave could not be bothered to talk/participate, even way back in 2013.
It's always been Brandon and Ronnie doing most of the promo, even back then. I'm glad that Ronnie has stuck by Brandon all these years no matter what.
@ minute 04.00 "It's real to me damnit!" haha
These comments about how disturbed eveyone is by this video 🤣
Anyone know where the vocal melody can be found? It's beautiful.
Still waiting for someone to share this :(
@@ChicagoCashHomes It was made for this video. Some people have mashed the bits from the vid into one "track," called Hums of Heaven
This is a Mockumentary. Dave is Werner Herzog. 🤣🤣🤣
Am I the only person who thinks this video has a weird vibe? Especially at the end

@@GotLotsaFaith Werner’s voice in no way “harkens back to a Waffen-SS leutnant”. what an idiotic statement.
@@MS-in3sl well, that's your opinion. comments are inherently subjective. once you grasp reality you'll hopefully simmer down

Brilliant documentary, although it´s way too short.

Very weird, creepy and uncomfortable joke from Herzog.
I LOVE YOU HERZOG!!!!

Is there a longer version of this?
thank you so much for sharing!

It's real to me damn it! Love Vannucci's swag

cursed video
I wonder where Dave went ! haha
does anyone know the name of the song the animatronic cowboy is singing at the end of this video? it sort of redeems the whole thing
Wow, I loved this.
Why no Dave?
+SuniKayLou My guess is I've read he lives in San Diego alot of the time and has a child there. Maybe he was there?
Oh, well that would make sense. Interesting that he chose to live in San Diego, and not Vegas.
where was dave?
my boys
Hey 'The Killers' fans!! Check out a new band called ''St.Guilt'' if you got spare time :)
Reunite Attaboy Skip!

Just as New Orleans isn't defined by Bourbon St.
And Amsterdam with it's red light district
Can somebody told me the name of that place please?
Jaime Felix Bonnie Springs Ranch
@@MattyRolston87 Tnx. Had been demolished in 2019 though.

LMAO Mark and Dave are SO weird. Love them- but they grumpy Gusses
3:31 i feel like Mark wants to laugh but forcing himself not to lol
3:30 Mark wants to laugh lol.

I found the film a bit depressing ... the music too ... it's my feeling ...
i love Herzog, he must think the killers are an awesome band to have made this one. KILLERS foreva
