This CD has three separate relaxation/meditation sessions on it th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzpa8CIfZcihW4Z0F_ja0QF3W9KIatrsq guided by a very pleasant and direct male voice. Unlike so many other products of its type, this CD does not have bad synthesizer music, does not feature a phony or affected style of narration, and does not make any bogus claims to be subliminal or to re-train the brain or any of that balderdash. What you get is 1. a guided meditation for getting into a pleasantly relaxed state of body awareness while taking a stroll (superb for those easing back into a fitness routine slowly after an illness or injury) 2. A nice long breath-awareness relaxation session that if followed diligently can put you into very deep states of full-body relaxation and mental calmness, and 3. a buddhist-inspired meditation session designed to help you develop and maintain feelings of loving kindness toward not just yourself and your friends, but toward people you don't even like. The CD makes no claims to be designed for advanced meditators or for buddhists or hindus/yoga practitioners looking for very deep and esoteric stuff. It is geared more toward the average person who just wants to develop the habit of relaxation and stress relief through natural, healthy means. him, if you happen to be reading this, keep up the good work fella, and I love your accent. I would also like to note that I have never fallen asleep while listening to this product. I would like to kindly suggest to the reviewer who said this CD makes him fall asleep, that he might want to get checked to see if he has a sleep disorder, or if he is simply not setting aside ample time for restful sleep at night. A healthy person getting adequate rest at night should be able to go into deep states of mental relaxation without dozing off, if not all the time, then most of the time.

I started exercising 34 years ago, walking with my newborn in a stroller. I could not believe how my postpartum mood was elevated by this simple walk with my baby. I’ve never stopped, mainly because of the mental benefits I received directly from walking. Walking led to running to triathlon, to yoga, to weight training. At 65, I will do my 9th half Ironman competition soon. None of this was inspired by a change in my physical appearance, but solely on the antidepressant effect movement has on my life. I often feel “young” years old when I complete an aerobic running workout, it’s indescribable. I play piano for fun and find that when I run well, the piano flows much better. Great discussion!

"I can attest to this!! Exercise truly is better than taking a pill. Working full-time and stress can be a major obstacle. I had eye surgery when I was 61 years old. As a result I was disqualified from driving a commercial vehicle. This was in April of 2020. I decided to remove some stress in my life so I retired early. When I recovered from surgery I started exercising. I started doing the things I love like rollerblading and ice skating. When I began to listen to my body. I knew that I had to "change my diet;" so I basically eliminated processed food and ultra processed food. Now I do all of my own cooking and have added more protein.
Now I have virtually removed stress in my life and I look forward to waking up every morning. I am now ice skating two to three times a week and I play hockey with a group of men every Saturday morning. I am now down to my weight when I was in my 20s after losing 30 lb. My social life has improved since I started going back to church every week. I smile a lot more because I feel so much better. This doesn't mean alll stress has been removed it just means that you can handle stress much better.

Praying and reading scriptures first thing in the morning puts me in the right state of mind. It is like meditation. When I exercise (cardio, stretching...) I don't put pressure on myself with the strict time schedule, and do it later in the day but not everday. My favorite workout has been running for many years but I have to keep in mind that with age, recovery time is longer. A balance of praying and physical exercise works for me. I would like to look at any study about the effects of prayer and meditation with physical exercise. Thank you for this video.

@ladybugflv..hello dear, yes it is very challenging to raise a child..but as an elderly person I want to share something which we forget with everything being so overwhelming..please please try to bring as much as joy d love in ur thoughts while bringing up the baby..because children feed d grow on the emotions of the mother more than the food..it effects their subconscious mind which on the long run affects their lives..these impressions start as early as from the womb..of course most of us know this but in this fast paced world we forget about this knowledge.lam not saying that we do not love them ,of course everyone cherishes every moment while raising their children..but very unconsciously sometimes we get some thoughts which we ourselves don’t know their impact..I just came back after attending a 3 day session of relationships healing classes..where some teenagers shared their traumatic experiences with the root causes being traced to their childhood energies (thoughts) from their surroundings…hope I’ve intruded too much god bless you both

As usual, I admire your interviewing skill combined with thorough research n passion for what you do n people.
My experience is that humans are soooo unique n different. I give you few examples of the same family members, with n without morning physical execise...
My mom lived to 95, was a health professional, never exercised, but did everything herself, especially, from 28 when she was divorced n her children taken away by her husband, very hard time, going back to study, work, n work. She went through lots of health issues, hormonal issues, n was diabetic till the end. But her attitude was like a child, one eye crying, one eye laughing. She loved herself, was proud of herself n her achievements, n was very creative, made all her clothes, curtains, everything else, n art work. Traveled a lot too. She had a big heart.
My uncle, her brother, was a MD, a surgeon; he had a pace maker for over 20 years, didn't exercise, was a self made multi millioner, created many successful companies, managed them till the end, he was 95.
My mom's cousin, was running every morning, very energetic, healthy young man, professional, smart, he died at 40, for no reason, after returning from his daily walk!
All of them had positive attitude in life, sense of humor, loving people, from the same family. You wonder how come the exerciser died at 40, without any warning sign, healthy n happy, while the other two despite their health issues, reached 95 in a good self-reliant, still driving n doing everything by themselves! Thank you very much.

Could be sodium deficiency or dehydration. People who exercise need a lot more of those, especially if they take protein or creatine supplements. Some of us are chronically dehydrated and we don’t even know. And many of us have magnesium and other deficiencies. People who cook their own food and their own daily tasks tend to have less deficiencies and be on their feet a lot more throughout the day

Thank you all for your kind replies. Yes, I am aware of other facts in individuals life, like karma, n our life's mission. But as far as Genetics, life style, nutrition, upbringing, education, hygiene, n everything else goes, they were the same, except one was exerciser, 2 weren't.
I myself have a healthy life style, but I was under a .OT of pressure n obligations since childhood, causing lots of stress n anxiety...which is the root cause of all kinds of ailments, including Thyroid disfunction, diabetes 2, high cholesterol, nerves issues, etc... n the side effects of the medications added to them, caused me IBS, Fibromyalgia, sleep disturbances, weight gain, etc, all like a vicious circle, adding to other symptoms...while I am allergic to pain killers, antibiotics, n many other things.
I know, all these ailments are energy Blockages, which can be healed. Just Ned to find a good doctor or therapist to work with me in trance, as I do with othes. I haven't found one in NZ, Auckland. Cheers.

For those w/physical limitations, will the exercise tool VIBRATION PLATFORM ($100-300, amazon) be just as effective in the morning wake up routine? It works great for me, and has a timer, and i always drink warm water before, so it will pump thru my newly awaken body temple. At work, i use break-time to walk in place or ‘round the building, but always use 5 lb hand weights and move arms same as legs, and this also helps all of my muscles release tension and stay healthy. We all Thank God for all your research and sharing, both of you are so brilliant and kind. 👏👏👏👏✨💜✨✌️✨🙏

I have an unusual take on this subject. I have 6 children. The first 3 are very different than the last 3. Numerous miscarriages in between. With the 1st 3 my life was different (much more settled,
good working husband, etc) With the last three my life became unraveled. Molestation of my
    Children, depression, suicidal
    (mother actually suceeded),etc.
The last 3 have lots of difficulty
learning, behavior, mental health issues...I was confused as to what happened. I've come to the conclusion that it points to on-going stress that I've LIVED
    through.

However, I’m very sedentary in my job & realize now that I’m in my early 60s that I really do need to move. It’s just such an effort to take time to go to the gym. 😃Thank you both so very much ❤ ❤ I loved your talk and I really have covered and do know most of these topics but I get so overwhelmed with just getting through my everyday life that I truly forget or choose to run with my never-ending to do list for fear that I won't get things done. I realize the list is never-ending and that I accomplish miracles on it (I am senior, long-term CPTSD, and have multiple chronic health challenges). It doesn't make sense that I have this fear and vote of non-confidence in my abilities. Also, I know music, stretching, meditation, walking, forest bathing, self-pampering baths, healthy food choices, and more are habits that should be at the top of my to do list but they are at the bottom and ofyen don't get accomplished due to fatigue (all energy spent on to do list) and I feel stuck in the mud of stoic responsibility to get all the chores done first. Lifetime habits that were not recognized in my youth; are recognized now and I have learned and practiced them all briefly but end up right back in this cycle of toxic self-punishing habits. 🙄🤪
