this a great lesson, but imo one of the best tips was actually when you talked about not sounding like Freddie, i've seen many cover of Queen either trying to sound like him or overdo his vocals and the feeling of the songs go missing

2:04 Although it can’t be chalked down to one thing in particular, it would be wrong to miss out Shaun Of The Dead’s contribution to popularising the song. As Simon Pegg explained, people were going mad for Freddie again in the early 2000s and so director Edgar Wright wrote a “begging letter” to guitarist Brian May asking if he could use Don’t Stop Me Now in the film. Brian presumably said yes and it’s arguably the most iconic and memorable scene in the British horror comedy cult classic. Interestingly, that’s only one of two Queen songs used in that film. The film ends with the song “You’re My Best Friend”.
