I love the Eagles version, but give credit where credit is due. The Eagles took the harmony, from a track on a 1973 Ian Matthews album (m.th-cam.com/video/tg4ypNNCSFA/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUfaWFuIG1hdHRoZXdzIHNldmVuIGJyaWRnZXMgcm9hZA%3D%3D). The album's producer, Mike Nesmith, said he and Matthews sang all the parts on the track. Country group Ricochet does an excellent job with the song.

The Beatles are my guys above all but NO ONE harmonizes like the Beach Boys! They are the best in my opinion. Brian Wilson is right up there with Paul McCartney as one of the all time great songwriters.

While Eagles are the standard, there is a version now from Brothers of the Heart. Turn it up, use headphones and prepare for chills and goosebumps. It blows me away. This is s very cool vid btw, thanks!

This is amazing; thank you for posting! Suite Judy Blue Eyes has always been one of my favorite songs to sing. Whether I'm singing this song alone or with my friends, no one ever seems totally clear on which harmony part to sing, never quite knowing who's singing which part. This tutorial clears up that ambiguity and I'm excited to share this with my music friends. Also, watching this tutorial and practicing the harmonies is the only thing getting me through this current election anxiety and I truly thank you for this:)

Thank you for talking about the "rawness" in the voices of the Beach Boys. Their music is raw in emotional terms and they express it so wonderfully with their edgy, rock n roll influenced way of projecting that emotion. I've heard trained singers sing the works of Brian Wilson without that rock n roll grit and it feels empty, and in a way, quite unsettling.
