Mickey Rourke is a real man . He could appreciate intelligence , capabilities of an another man . He's in touch with himself . He's so brave enough to admit his own weakness while many of us still holding tight to our ego . Mickey Rourke in fact is honourable man and it takes an intelligent honourable person to see beyond his notorious reputations . Afterall Mickey Rourke is a down to earth , sensitive man who's the best actor and boxer , such a combination is unique !!! Love you , Mickey Rourke .
lol is this satire Nothing says absence of ego like massive plastic surgery and his boxing wins are regarded very skeptically in RE to fixing Plus, he juiced for the movie, almost certainly
Something is really wrong if this interviewer doesn't get regular work. Anyone who can make great insightful conversation with someone so private as Mickey Rourke should be getting all the work. You see so many terrible interviewers who ask the same cliche and stupid questions that you wonder why they get paid. This guy on the other hand kept the conversation flowing, talked when he needed to talk and shut up when he needed to listen. No interruptions, just a well paced interview with one of the greatest actors of all time.
Gosh, it really touched me listening to him saying he got the shit kicked out of him at home as a kid. I can so related. It actually brought me to tears. Well done Mickey for coming back from that.
Mickey Rourke......a sexual desire in real time. MY FANTASY from the first I saw him. EXCELLENT ACTOR. SEXY CAPTIVATING SMILE, Definition OF COOL........YOU ARE STILL ALL THESE THINGS. WHEN YA GOT IT......YA GOT IT FOR GOOD. MY FAVORITE MOVIES YOU DID WERE 1ST AND FOREMOST WAS POPE OF GREENWICH VILLAGE AND 2ND WSS ANGEL HEART BEST OF LUCK TO YOU EVERY DAY. GOD BLESS YOUR LIFE AND KEEP THAT FABULOUS CHIN UP AND SMILE THAT SMOLDERING SEXY GRIN BABY!!!
Mickey is a true artist the best actor since Brando a great boxer a man's man and a ladies man I was a tango dancer actor turned boxer Mickey you are my brother god speed bro ceasare valentino nj
i love this interview!! mickey is so raw, that makes it so relatable and the interviewer is very good and can guide the conversation in a very empathetic way.
Going out on top vs making a come back on a second chance. I feel the latter is most inspirational because it brings hope to anyone who is carrying the weight of past trauma. He has come out the other end with valuable insights. I have watched a few of his interviews. He could write a book on this or do a series of interviews because he has processed trauma and moved forward and should share this. Many men do not speak to it.
...most people who are heavy boozers and drug users rarely make it out of their thirties...guys like Mickey have either a stronger constitution and/or a very good liver! Studies have shown that some very heavy boozers had minimal damage to their livers because their extraordinary livers could detoxify substances so efficiently.
Albeit, the latter part of his career, but in no way the lesser. Rediscovering him over the last few years has been a sincere pleasure. "Perfect" doesn't exist, but "progress" does, and he seems to be navigating his current path with a finely tuned focus. I am so consistently surprised by his depth and his genuine willingness to continue to grow and learn. An opened mind and a healing heart never looked better on anyone. Wishing him peace and further motivating work in the future. The best is yet to come~~
He should of left his face alone T this stage because he still normal now in 2020 he looks unrecognisable and Hollywood still treated him like shit even after his terrific performance in the wrestler it would be really good to see him in more films because he is a fine actor and a nice bloke
We get to see the real Mickey in this interview. Not sure I like the shaggy hair but Mickey definitely exudes charisma here. I have watched his performances from the ‘80s and have also watched everything else he was in during ‘the 90s and 2000’s. The Wrestler was spectacular & full of heart & soul. I also enjoyed Mickey’s performances in Man on Fire, Once upon a Time in Mexico and (especially) The Rainmaker (when he played “Bruiser Stone”). He was lauded for “Sin City” and I even enjoyed “Spun” because of Mickey. Most folks have a favorite Mickey Rourke flick. I did love “The Wrestler” but I also loved “Angel Heart” and “Nine and 1/2 Weeks.” Mickey was the only reason I watched “Iron Man 2” (he and the bird were both great)- and Mickey would be the only reason I might watch “The Expendables.” I thought “Kill Shot” was far better than the critics portrayed and I felt the same way about “Domino.” I have not seen Mickey’s latest performances but I will check them out when I can because of Mickey- nothing more. Overall, Mickey Rourke has been involved in a substantial body of work- much of which continues to appeal to particular audiences. His performances are memorable- most of which are legendary. I am happy to know that Mickey was able to get his life and career back on track. So many of us appreciate the work which has gone into his performances. Much love to you, Mickey. You are not shy about being human and about loving/appreciating your dogs. Mickey reached so many humans through his love of dogs. I sincerely hope that Mickey has found the peace which he deserves- which we all deserve. ❤️✌️
Loki presents and the cheering sound as it mirrors that scene from the film where Randy walks down to the workplace as if it was a ring is a really great choice David.
Looking back at interviews of Mickey Rourke the guys doing the interviews were out of order and mostly on an ego trip Mickey Rourke One of the Best actors ever and the most beautiful
He looked great in this interview but he must have had a lot more surgery after this, unless as he's got older it's effected his skin. Such a lovely guy, depth, humour, AND HE LOVES DOGS .
I feel he would benefit from watching some of Jordan Peterson’s online talks. Glad you have had a second chance, amazing deep actor when he lets himself go
I think because he was SA as a child, once he got into hollywood he was extremely disappointed that it took men to give s. favors in order to get jobs & his old demons came back & he went nuts. Like mel gibson, mickey is just too fucken honest for hollyweird.
Unfortunately, the best thing about Mickey Rourke is also the worst thing . He has no filter between his mouth and his brain, and he’s in the wrong line of business to be that way. If you’re going to say fuck ‘em when the guy you’re saying fuck ‘em to is signing your paychecks- then you better be prepared for the consequences.
lets see " 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months" that's a laugh - not even a top bodybuilder on steroids could do that - buy the looks of mickey in wrestler its more likely i was 29 pounds of fat and 1 pound of muscle
So true me too now I stay alone till it’s right always attracting bad and I was always trying to fix them two twenty years marriages five year boyfriend another one in a half year boyfriend finally learned like you when you value yourself you finally attract the right people for you I had to stay alone for 18 years and still continuing at least with you only eleven years your amazing I look up to your strength at going to be 68 in January I better start moving time running out @lorraineamicothemakeupartist New York Staten Island ❤one of your many favorite fan keep going Mickey the best

Non sono daccordo

Truth is always available to all of us we have to choose whether or not we want to look in the mirror and admit the truth and face up to it 🎉
He should have won the oscar.
Rourke should have had 3 other Oscar nominations: Diner, 9.5 weeks, and Pope of Greenwich Village.
he definitely should have. the wrestler is a masterpiece movie and mickey was the reason. he was literally born for this role.
@@jacobadams5924 I agree. I also think those 3(?) movies he did with Michael Cimino did no favors to his rep, back in the day.
Mickey, as a person, is rare bird.
this is a very good interview & good interviewer obviously
What a cool guy. That's what I called an evolved human. Great actor. Respect Mickey!!
Mickey is a true artist the best actor since Brando a great boxer a man's man and a ladies man I was a tango dancer actor turned boxer Mickey you are my brother god speed bro ceasare valentino nj
He has shown us what a pained, sweet, talented, complex, animal loving man he is. It's your karma Mickey. Love you. 💓💕
i love this interview!! mickey is so raw, that makes it so relatable and the interviewer is very good and can guide the conversation in a very empathetic way.
I love his authenticity. Awesome man. His kindness and love for his dogs warms my heart.
Mickeys life is so interesting

in his early years as an actor Mickey was the best looking dude EVER
yea in 91/2 weeks he was such a good looking guy. model looks.
Other males aren't the arbiter of that lol
The way he talks about his years away from hollywood. How far he'd fallen... there's no telling how bad things really got.
hes changed so much, i really relate to him a lot, ik he is a true introvert, n minds his own business
very honest interview
what a good interview. credit to them both and my thanks. what a man is MICKEY Rourke. love him. xx .
This man has a great heart...

Wow , just what a great interview ,just look at this , just look at it

Great Actor ..when you look at some over rated actors ...he's the real, deal
Honesty in this interview all of the way🎉
i love the way he turns his head sometimes, as if he saw and heard something really scary... like : JESUS... what was that!? Ha ha... ha
Yeah I wonder what he saw . I have watched it a few times and the way you described his reaction was right on
So much honesty and truth in Mickey.
Always opening himself to honest interviewer.
❤

Mickey Rourke bester Schauspieler aller Zeiten. Ich liebe diesen Mann ❤❤❤. Authentisch und Tierlieb.
He look handsome here. Why did he continue to mess with his face?
damn the way he struck the match to close was so charismatic
He even makes reaching for a vitamin water look cool.
Love this interview with Mickey
I wonder how many people here have seen Francesco (1989) or Homeboy (1988)
Best Mickey Rourke interview ever!!! 👏👏👏
mickey rourke is wonderful in this interview in spite of david poland.
Loved this interview.
He should’ve left his face alone here.

Loki presents and the cheering sound as it mirrors that scene from the film where Randy walks down to the workplace as if it was a ring is a really great choice David.

I love him.
Good interview.

Восхитительный мужчина! Чтобы кто не говорил он был и будет секс символом!!!
Same stuff in the interview. I do like the interview being held outside, though.
proof you can be your own worst enemy. Tons of talent but couldn't lay the demons to rest.
Just so honest.🌸💖💓💕💘💝
What happened to his nose since this?
Love you Mickey🌟💗😁
Mickey love you❤
Amazing interview. Mickey is an awesome dude, but omg I hate that the interviewer keeps saying mhm over and over again and sighing
Be nice if you could hear Mickey a bit more. Pierce Morgan interviewed him not long ago & U can hear him better.
✌
Looking back at interviews of Mickey Rourke the guys doing the interviews were out of order and mostly on an ego trip
Mickey Rourke One of the Best actors ever and the most beautiful
LOVELY ...
He looked great in this interview but he must have had a lot more surgery after this, unless as he's got older it's effected his skin. Such a lovely guy, depth, humour, AND HE LOVES DOGS .
master
Real man, great actor. He is still very handsome. More attractive now than he was.
This interview was about 10 years ago - his face has changed greatly again.
How did he get that big hole in his nose now?@@firenze5555
that's some deep shit
Great actor
Of every example in the world does he pick football players from Norway. Yay!
Seria bom um tradutor principalmente para os Brasileiros
Sei beautiful♥️
I feel he would benefit from watching some of Jordan Peterson’s online talks. Glad you have had a second chance, amazing deep actor when he lets himself go
Jordan Peterson is a piece of shit.
I would have been in trouble in the same room with him in the 80’s. 😂
He should have taken the Oscar home.
We kan make video clip ...🤑🙂😋☕🥐
: Mickey Mantle, Elvis Presley, Muhammed Ali
❤
I love my dog 🐕
I think because he was SA as a child, once he got into hollywood he was extremely disappointed that it took men to give s. favors in order to get jobs & his old demons came back & he went nuts.
Like mel gibson, mickey is just too fucken honest for hollyweird.
Did he have to sleep with guys from the studios?
I just wish the guy doing the interview his “mmmhmm” just don’t do anything or actually talk cause that shit was driving me crazy!!😂🤦♂️

If you’re going to say fuck ‘em when the guy you’re saying fuck ‘em to is signing your paychecks- then you better be prepared for the consequences.
If he dissolved his facial fillers, good. He looks better.
Like....Mickey....what is with you? Wha? What is your deal? What is wrong with you now, you tomato can waster?
lets see " 30 pounds of muscle in 6 months" that's a laugh - not even a top bodybuilder on steroids could do that - buy the looks of mickey in wrestler its more likely i was 29 pounds of fat and 1 pound of muscle
he wasnt fat
30 pds. Easy. 50/100mgs anadrol
No nothing pathetic troll. Probably 5’2” 90lbs. Bald; bad teeth, bad breath? Yeah ... that’d be it.
Maybe I heard a different interviewer than everyone else who commented but he was awful. Mickey was cool but the interviewer was crap.
I thought the interviewer was great.
Love Mickey Rourke great man know that childhood I can relate my prayers always with you @lorraineamicothemakeupartist
