So I’m to get fresh okra and not even attempt to wash it after everyone’s hands have been all over it I need to understand this?
Usually, the person who grew it puts on gloves because the okra has picky stalks, and it gets to the hands from doing it for a while. And if you cook them, it will kill any bacteria that has come in contact with the vegetable. Hope this helps!
