Just learned of Anjelah. This lady is amazingly talented. She has it all... yes, the jokes are very good but it's so much more... her gestures, expressions, timing, impersonations, are in perfect synch with the 'jokes'. And then there's just 'her', :) , you can't help but like her. Talent like hers is very rare indeed.

I had to stop breastfeeding because I would bawl with uncontrollable anxiety and my daughter wouldn't latch on. This was 26 years ago, and I hope the lactation nurses have gotten better because the woman who came out to help was awful. No empathy, sympathy or kindness. She just told me "don't feed her, she'll get hungry and latch on" and left. My mom was staying with me and said "stop putting so much pressure on yourself and feed her a bottle! She will be fine! " And that's what I did. And thank God, because I would've starved her had I follow the nurses advice- my daughter was TONGUE TIED and couldn't latch on ! So I switched to bottle feeding and it was great, because then her dad could feed her too and that was awesome for him to have that time to bond. Anyway, do what works for you and I hope all is well for you, you bring so much joy to the world, and to my life specifically, so thank you gurl!

I learned something new, about drag queens and trans i assumed they were one in the same. I apologize for that, The reason i thought that, my best friend from the time i was 15, im 48 now. He was gay. He would do drag shows which were awesome, i watched him struggle with wanting to be trans and go back and forth on who he felt he should be. He finally started ordering hormones from oinline to transition. What ever drugs he was taking fired his mind. Hes not there at all anymore. Its really heartbreaking to see . He moved to California and i have not heard from. Him in years. I hope he was able to get all the help he needed and is living his best life.

I think she's one of if not the best female comic I've seen... It's very discouraging how many women comics all lean towards the angry cynical self deprecation or all about their failed relationships and sex in their routines. I'm not sure why. This girl is legitimately funny while still using her identity and stuff in her material without being negative.
I would say she's one of the best comics around. The fact she is a vagina holder doesn't separate her from the over all category of comics. If women can find common grounds with male comics, I do believe men can get a little outside of their recognized norm to relate.
