I've been playing the demo, both free and Patreon versions. Here a few hints. I hit the pause (P key) mission at start, check map (M key) to see where my location is relative to enemy, use "Q" key to set my formation type and spacing, also use "Q" key to reload ready rack rounds in my tank and any tanks in my platoon/section. If you have more than one section/platoon, you can do the same for the other vehicles. Also use pause key to change your unit formation as you move through terrain. Be patient in your movement, speed kills (no reaction time) unless you are evading incoming fire or have cover. Use vegetation and terrain to mask your location. When attacking, I try to avoid a direct approach to suspected enemy positions. I always look to get around a flank or rear. The AI enemy reacts poorly to flank and rear attacks. The BMP's manually guided ATGM is very hard to steer/aim, so I just stopped using it and stayed with the gun. Best kill shot probability is when stationary, but move to cover for reloading, or risk being hit. The AI's gunnery is very good for all vehicle types. I will sometimes park all my vehicles, using Q key formation "halt" command. I then take the platoon leader's vehicle and go on a scouting/sniping recon. I change the formation movement to "follow" when I am finished with my recon.
There are actually night sights for the pact although rudimentary these are turned on in the Q me ur by turning your IR spotlight on then pressing T to activate the actual sight the commander also has IR goggles meaning he can see using the IR spotlights as well although from my experience it’s better without while in commander view
This may have just saved my life, I kept hearing my commander call out targets but I could hardly ever find them (until I saw their muzzle flash but by that point I was already doomed) thanks for letting me know what the space bar is for!
One thing that can help when facing an enemy is to learn were the weakspots are(this can only be taking into account if the enemy isn't too far away, exept if you're not really skilled). If you know where to shoot a tank to take it out with one shot you will save time and ammo and the chances of your side winning will increase. The T72 has the ammo carousel under the turret and a hit there will with almost 100% chance make the turret fly. If your facing it frontally you should aim for the lower hull plate since there is basically no armor there and the round will go right through the ammo carousel. The M1and M1IP are tanks that has enough armor to survive a hit frontally from a t72 at point blank range(won't stop if hit at lower hull plate). Although it is strong there are some areas were a singel hit can take out the tank, the turret ring is one of these and since it's thin it won't stop much and razorsharp, red hot fragments will make short work of anyone inside the turret. The gunner sight is also a weakspot of the M1 and if hit the round will kill the gunner+ commander and can sometimes enter the ammo storage in the back of the turret. The M1 has a spare ammo rack with 6 rounds which is located slightly above and between the 4th and 5th roadwheel on the right side. The T55 and M60 are both tank with less armor and can be taken out quickly with a well placed HEAT-FS shell Of course sometimes you won't be able to aim for a specific area or even tough you shoot at a weakspot the round doesn't make it through cuz of a particular angle or something or one of you has a position were one of you is higher/lower than the other and is protected/exposed.

You can basically forget about any other assisting platoons as they do their own thing. I really hope in the future we'll be allowed to tell other AI tanks where to go.

I can't get my head around how ammo restock works. I get that there's a ready rack which has to be restocked, but in the game, once I've fired the initial ten rounds, then wait for restock, I'm out of ammo again after firing 2 or 3 rounds, and have to restock again. I also don't understand why restocking the ready rack is this looping thing you have to toggle on and off before selecting ammo. But regardless the ready rack isn't fully restocking however long i wait. Is it borked or is there something I'm just not understanding?
When you restock, they usually restock ONE of each ammo for example from APFSDS to HEAT, or HE, and back to APFSDS. If you only want to restock, let say your HEAT rounds, you can either skip restocking the other rounds and just only restock HEAT by toggling it on and off until you get the right rounds in (just keep an extra eye on the text of the round type when restocking). You can also check how many rounds you have left in your tank on bottom HUD. Example if it is "9/13" the 9 is how many rounds are ready to be fire, and the 13 are the rounds that are stored in your tank, but not ready yet, until your loader restocks them in the ready rack.
Not sure if I am just too slow to aim, or dwell in gunner view too long, but I have failed to succeed with Silver Dart more times than I want to admit. But there are just too many of them if you catch them early coming out of the tree line. If I play it safe and wait for them to crest the hill you start off at, they all pop up too many too fast for 2 tanks to take out. No matter how I try to play it, I get nailed by being way outnumbered or a far off flanking tank. I won ONE time only, when I went way left, hugged the tree line and caught them unaware from a flanking position. And I continued that whole scenario Ninja Sniper style, taking them out one at a time by surprise. Not how I would like to win. How would you play the silver dart scenario?
