What a stunning looking stitch. We're heading into summer here in Australia so will have to put it in my 'must try' list for next year. Will however practice with a swatch in the meantime. Thanks for being a wonderful teacher. Wish I'd discovered your channel much sooner.
That is such a pretty stich, I love the texture. Thanks for your clear instructions. I might have to practise it for a bit before using it in a project, since it looks a bit intimidating. But I would love to use it for a wrap.
Excellent tutorial! You do a fantastic job of breaking down the steps of a rather complicated stitch! I am going to practice along with your video until I feel confident enough to make a project out of this lovely stitch! Thank you!
Lovely pattern and excellent tutorial❣️ A variation I thought was with back post single crochets and for the long doubles the extended form or trebles for each new color on its first row. What do you think?
Hi Serah I love the stitch. being blind your tutorial is easy to follow. There is however a mistake in the written pattern row2 ch1 sc in the first st *sc in the next 2sts sk the next st bpdc around first post dc in space between 4 times dc round next st sk next st sc in 3 sc* repeat from star. it's supposed to be 5 and not 3. smile.
It does help to watch and look at the written instructions together. I noticed something about the written on rows 2, 3 and 9. On row 2, you say sc in each of the next 5 but it is not written in the instructions. You do have the count for the end of the row and the 3 sc. Same on the other two. For row 3, you did not write the sc in the next 3 for the middle parts, just the 2 sc at the end, and for row 9 you did not include the sc in each of the next 7, only the 4 sc for at the end. I just made swatches of the Moroccan Tile and the Simply Nesting to see which I liked better but want to swatch this one to see if it fits my afghan colors better. You always have beautiful designs. Thank you.
I think I figured it out. You said SC 5, wrote 3, but the other 2 are at the beginning of the repeat. Same with the other 2 rows. I figured it out while I was actually making the row. Everything is great. Thank you.
In the written pattern, row nine reads: Sc in the 1st st, * sc in each of the next 3 sts, 5 dc in the same sp as the middle sc four rows below, sk the next 3 sts, ^^sc in each of the next 4 sts^^; rpt from * across. Ch 1, turn. In the video you say to sc in each of the next 7 stitches, and that seems to line up with the pattern. Is the video correct?
Beautiful, thank you! And I realized that I can make a cute bra/lingerie/bikini top with this pattern (with some adjustments). 👙🤭👍❤ I want to try making a purse with my leftover polyester yarns first, tho. Wish me luck and thank you again for being such a great teacher! 👏
Thank you for sharing this beautiful stitch! Definitely would love to crochet a blanket with this!❤️🤗

What size hook are you using?
Do you have a written pattern for this pattern please?

oh, nevermind - I see; the 7 stitches is divided into 2 - 3 and 4 at the beginning of the repeat part. Thanks so much for the pattern!
