    Man what do i have to do to be able to forge with an 8 lbs hammer? And with such good control! Really impressive!
    I'm really a beginner but sometimes even my 1 kg hammer becomes tiring real quick

    • @DesertOwlForge
      @DesertOwlForge  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      26 years of practice. I wasn't always that efficient. It took me about a year and a half of almost daily forging just to build up the necessary muscles. Just keep at it and you'll get there eventually.

    Now drill and thread?

    • @DesertOwlForge
      @DesertOwlForge  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're asking: what the next step is? Then yes. Drill and tap.

  • @dennisw7350

    Does it work to thread these nuts?

    • @DesertOwlForge
      @DesertOwlForge  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, that's the whole purpose of them. Just make sure your pilot whole for forging is smaller than the pilot for the thread your planning to use.
